Frequently Asked Questions
SD style is one of the best ways to express the sophisticated design of the mecha and the style also presents the sense of fullness. The compact body structure expresses the movement and the action amazingly. Additionally, the SD style has a great advantage for expressing both characteristic and personality of the mechas.Last updated:
On some reward level, backers will have a character designed especially for them in the game, how will this be possible?
We will design an exclusive player based on the backer’s image and pre-described characteristic with a full set of animation and performance. In the game, each character will be assigned to an ID card, players can collect those ID cards through various ways. In the hope that the Kickstarter campaign goes extremely well, we will consider adding a full recruit system. The players can collect and reinforce each character and able to set up their own squads for special missions!Last updated:
On some reward level, backers can design their own weapons, items, and mechas in the game. How will this be performed?
Based on different tiers of the reward, custom design is included but not limited to character design, background story setting, game system feature design, and other related development. We will provide exclusive animation design and technical support for advanced customization service such as mecha design.
The mechas and gears customization will be available after we finished developing the story mode. Our designers will personally contact the backers and design the mechas and gears with them.Last updated:

In V.S. mode, why did we choose quarter split-screen (like Super Mario Kart) over one screen for four players (like Super Smash Bros.)?
Quarter split-screen can let each player enjoy well-designed camera work without any interference. In a fighting game, one of the crucial essences in Code: HARDCORE is strategic tactics. For the best result of presenting various tactics such as camouflage, flank, interference and stun, the quarter split-screen is the best option to go with.Last updated:
Pilots and Ace Pilots can both be used in PvP mode.
In single player mode, Ace Pilots can be seen more often and have more lines than Pilots.
Ace Pilots drive leader mechas with exclusive paintings, while Pilots drive mass-produced mechas.
