Dear Backers,

Happy New Year!

Thank You for being a Backer of the RFduino project!

As we have we have constantly been in direct dialog with Backers who have contacted us with since our last update a couple months ago, I would like to do another update and reach out to everyone and say hello.

Some of the dialog was relating to general shipping questions, updates to shipping addresses, wanting to add more shields or RFduinos to the shipments, asking about customs for international shipments and asking general support questions. We're always here to help in any way we can.

First, here are a few quick things about international shipments:

We have been told by some Backers in Germany and UK as well as other countries outside of the USA that it took them 3 or more months for their local post office to deliver the package, even though USPS was able to track the package leaving the USA within a week of the ship date. So if you are an International Backer and have not yet received your package, the last of them went out to ShipWire fulfillment center on Nov 13th, so I would still give it another month or so, as a few times per week we are receiving messages from some international Backers saying they received their package. All packages have been shipped out from ShipWire already.

If you have any shipping questions, we do request for you to please contact us by email at as that allows us to provide service to you effectively. We do appreciate posting questions and having dialog in the forums and blogs, however we do request that you ask shipping questions in the form of a direct question and please provide your contact info so we know who you are. :) Please let us know if you are a KickStarter Backer or Pre-Order customer, etc., as well. Any information you can provide to us in your email or message would be very helpful. Also do know, if you post a shipping question into a forum, we can not answer you in the forum to protect your privacy and personal information, such as your address and items in you reward, amount you pledged etc.

If you have emailed us and not received a response back, please do check your spam filter settings as we answer all email questions we receive.

I also want to thank you all for the wonderful emails you have been sending to us about all the cool things you are doing with your RFduinos. Please keep it coming!

Please keep emailing us about your applications and we will post them on the RFduino website. Any videos you have which you would like for us to post, please send those in as well. However of course you can always post in the forum as well:

We have done quite a few updates over the last couple months, you can download the latest zip here: Of course you can also get them from GitHub too.

Our documentation page on the RFduino website has all the info you need in one easy to find place:

There are also a couple Android apps there which were published a couple months ago by contributors.

You can also find the source for the iPhone apps there too.

We have been quite busy, there is A LOT happening here at RFduino, excitement is at an all-time high! We have new RFduino shields on the way as well, quite a bit of exciting news coming soon!

Have a great weekend!

Very Best Regards,

Dan Larsen, Federico Lucifredi, and 4 more people like this update.
