Opening night is tomorrow!

Hey everyone!

Can you believe it? We are opening at FringeNYC tomorrow! We are almost sold out for opening night and tickets are moving for all the rest of the shows.  We are so excited.

But we need your help still.

I recently wrote a personal essay for Huffington Post about the inspiration for Our Lady and what I aim to achieve with this show.  To be effective, we need your help sharing the essay.  Post it on Facebook.  Email it to anyone you think may find inspiration from it.  Tweet.  Anything.  My story and the show can only do a greater good if it is heard, read, and seen.  We are a little show and you are our army.  Our Lady needs you to help spread her tale.

And while you are at it, feel free to remind people to buy tickets.  There are only 88 seats a night so don't wait to get seats.  Here is the link to the ticket site:

Thank you again for all your support.  I couldn't be prouder of this show.  And I could have never done it without you.

Hey everyone!

We are officially 13 days away from opening night. I want to thank you all again for helping to fund this amazing dream. I have a show playing in New York City! It's unreal.

Of course, since you backed this show, it makes sense that if you're in New York, you may want to see it.  Below is a link to the Facebook event with all information.  Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door but there are less than 100 seats in the theater so don't wait a minute to grab your tickets. It's all general admission.

And please, if you come, introduce yourself if you see me after the show. You've helped to make a dream come true and for that, I can't thank you enough.

Okay, well, now I need to pack up my whole apartment in Boston and move to New today.

- James

Things are really happening!

OUR LADY has finished the first week of rehearsal here in Boston and the team has been hard at work everyday perfecting the elements of this story. Below is a process shot of one the the costumes for OUR LADY. We thought you'd appreciate seeing pieces of this as we brought all the elements together. Of course we can't show you too much because it would ruin the anticipation.

Rewards are being finalized as we speak and should be in the mail soon. The rewards that include teeshirts are taking a bit longer than we had expected, but hold tight. You will be representing the BITCH soon enough. All rewards should be received by the end of JULY.

OUR LADY will be performing at The LIVING THEATRE (21 Clinton street, NY).

Attention all $100+ backers requesting rewards.

Please fill out the survey for your reward as soon as possible. We want to get the shirts ordered so we can print them with the Backer's Exclusive design.

Thanks to everyone who made this such a great success. With private donations and kickstarter we raised $13030 to produce the premiere of OUR LADY in NYC. I will be sending out surveys to each tier of reward recipients soon so that I can get all the information I need to create and ship them.  I can't wait for you to receive them.

We will continue to post updates and videos about our progress. You will begin to see the bare bones of the design/building journey, and in July you will be welcomed into our rehearsals. So keep in touch with us. Let us know your feedback. We are the army now and this is our war. Let us know if you see something that inspires you or seems in the spirit of OUR LADY.

The term we will move forward using is "DRIP."

To "drip" is a necessity for survival. OUR LADY will rise, dripping for all to see.

Thank you again,

James Fluhr and OUR LADY Team
