This is probably the last time I will be contacting you all in reference to the Kickstarter fundraising. We're looking into adding a Paypal link on the website in case a few people are interested in donating even after the fundraiser ends, but for the most part this is it.
I'm impressed and humbled at the support we've received. If the game is half the game you all expect it to be, it will be amazing. Hopefully, it'll be even better than any of you could have predicted.
As this is the last day, bug all your friends who might have said "I'll donate at some point," because this is it, this is that point, the last point to throw your money at odd morbid things!
Got the new tile set implemented some. Check it oooout.
On the left, everything looks fairly good. On the right you can see some weird floaty splotches. This was supposed to be fog, but the transparency failed. So it just looks like weird floaty splotches. Neat right?!
Still, the trees look good, I think the stone walkway looks amazing, and oooh no, what's down that brick area? Something interesting?! You'll just have the play the game to find out!
Well, if this area even ends up in the main game. This was mostly mocked up to test how the new tile sets looked with the old tile sets.
Also, for your viewing pleasure, here are some photos from yet another graveyard we went to for research. Our sound designer/composer Hayden was in Reno last week and stopped out at Virginia City, an old mining town.
