A graveyard simulator, a story of epitaphs, a tale of ghosts that haunt, a game with no goal— all valid descriptions of Boon Hill.

Two Days Left!

Posted by Matthew Ritter (Creator)

Woooah! Amazing humans that seem to enjoy graveyards, there are a mere two days left on the kickstarter.

Which is pretty neat, mostly that it has done so well. First up on today's update...

I know what you're thinking: "It's just a tree, why is this a big deal?" Well, it's a really awesome tree. Also, it's part of our continued efforts to get all the extra graphical bits for the game done. Trees, people, tile sets... A lot has been done, but even more is still being worked on to attempt to give the graveyard the right atmosphere.

I'm hoping to have some new areas ready to show you all for the "one day left" update. So, hopefully tomorrow you can see some of the new tile sets in action.

10 Dollar gaming did a nice little blurb on my game. Thank you 10 dollar gaming!

True PC Gaming did another interview piece over here. Talking to me about my feelings on existence and life. Okay, mostly just on Boon Hill and games.

There's yet another interview up over at NerdSpan that's been up for a few days but I totally forgot to show off.

It looks like we're going to reach 10k. As long as people keep up the word of mouth work they're doing. Which is great, as the team can focus on giving a cross platform experience that the largest group possible can appreciate.

Thank you all for your help, talk to you soon.

I hope so. We're trying to implement some cool background animations for like the grass and trees and such. Though it's low priority behind getting the game done and other more pressing things.

Any chance those tree's are going to be animated? Like a periodic gust of breeze rustling the leaves? I think that would be great to see.
