Ultimate Battle is the card game where YOU illustrate the battle! Draw item cards, combine cards to create attacks you sketch on a paper battlefield, and even draw your defenses. It's up to you, your marker, and your creativity to come out on top!

Another (Hilarious) Example of How To Play:
When we hit $16.5K we'll ratchet up the quality even higher!
When we hit $22K we'll add alternative play modes to the game!
When we hit $27.5K we'll add an additional 20 Battle Cards to the game. We want submission ideas from our Kickstarter Backers (only) and we'll have our backers vote for cards in an exclusive, Kickstarter only poll!
When we hit $33K the total number of cards we'll add to the game will double! We want submission ideas from our Kickstarter Backers (only) and we'll have our backers vote for cards in an exclusive, Kickstarter only poll! 40 total cards added to Ultimate Battle? You better believe it!
When we hit $44K, we'll bring a whole new expansion to the game centered around a specific theme (once its developed)! All Backers pledging to receive a version of the game will receive this expansion when we're ready to ship it out! This won't come with the game, but think of it as a long-term thank you to all our wonderful backers out there!
Ultimate Battle is the exciting new card and sketching game for two or more players! Draw cards, sketch attacks inspired by those cards, and defend as best you can! The game challenges players with a need for careful Strategy. You may want to use all the cards you've drawn to attack your opponent, but you better save some of those cards for your defense! Ultimate Battle also rewards players for their Creativity. There are hundreds of cards you can use to craft crazy card combinations (like a sizzling radiation fort, or a deadly glass badger)! Played in as little as 15 minutes, our game is all about Strategy, Creativity, and FUN!
Great for adults and kids alike, Ultimate Battle challenges players to come up with the wackiest, wildest, most awesome illustrations they can. The game's all played on a paper battlefield, with each player scribbling their heroes, scratching out their enemies, and doodling their defenses!
And hey, creativity's great for kids! Ultimate Battle gets the youngsters away from the video games and talking to each other. We've seen some of the best card combos come from our youngest players!
We want to make it clear here: you don't have to be a master artist to excel at Ultimate Battle. Whether you create a charcoal-shaded masterpiece or a frumpy little stick figure, it all counts!
Will you combine your "Wings" card with a "tiger" card to make a flying tiger? What about that "Vacuum" card? Throw it in there too and make a flying tiger with a vacuum tail! Do you only have the "Soap" and "Brick" cards in your hand? No matter what cards you hold in your hand you'll have to think fast to defeat your opponents!
Players start the game by drawing cards from the deck and illustrating a hero to represent themselves. They then launch attacks, defenses, and counter-attacks by combining cards and sketching out their creations.
Players illustrate their attacks on paper laid out on a table. As players scribble their attacks against their opponents, the opponents have to think fast and come up with a clever defense using cards in their hands. In the two-player version of the game players draw more cards after both players have attacked and defended. In the multi-player game there's no re-drawing. You get what you're given and have to work with what you've got!
It's one-hit destruction in Ultimate Battle (What can we say? We don't mess around)! So landing an attack against your enemy that they can't defend means you've won the game. But with so many ways to defend, it won't be as easy as it sounds.
If you fire off a machine gun full of spiders and your opponent tries to defend with a cloud, you can always call for a disagreement. That's where our ingenious Disagreement Deck comes into play!
If you and your opponent can't come to an agreement then just flip one of our Disagreement cards. Disagreement cards are a great way to keep the game moving and get you right back into the action. No haggling, no debating, just a flip of a card and you're playing again!
Our cards are printed on the finest quality playing-card stock (300 gsm stock with blue core). The game comes with over one hundred silky cards full of evocative original artwork and safe and snug in a custom-designed box.

Risks and challenges
We know that creating a fun, well-made game is no easy task. We've addressed and are assessing possible challenges that may arise during gameplay. Here are some concerns and how we're addressing them:
Getting Funded Without a Complete Game - We're almost there! As this kickstarter launches, all of our final art proofs are completed and submitted (and they look great)! By the time this kickstarter is up and rolling we'll have put in countless hours of playtesting and rules revision.
Creating High Quality, Original Artwork - We love our artists, they're producing some of the best-looking card designs we've ever seen! And we've played a lot of card games.
Explaining the Rules Without Being Present - We've fine-tuned our rules to be easy to read, quick to grasp, and... most importantly... we've designed our rules to get out of the way of the fun! As such, we find that we don't have to hold your hand through the learning process of the game. It's easy to learn, a blast to play, and very self-explanatory.
Quality Printing at an Affordable Price - We've searched high and low for the perfect vendors to create this game, and we're very pleased with the company we're working with. This should ensure that the delivery process is as fast as humanly possible.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
