Truckette Hat Co is looking to order of our first round of manufactured Truckettes (and pay for our patent)!
Now's the time for us to place that big order of Truckettes that could possibly change the destiny of Truckette Hat Co forever. We couldn't be more stoked about how far we've come to get to this point!
The CEO, Stacie, had to search far and wide to find a company that could make Truckettes! Read her bio to find out more! You should know that it took her almost 2 years to find a manufacturer that could make it exactly as it should be, and thank goodness, because she was starting to get overloaded by all the orders pouring in!
Stacie has been working on Truckette since 2015, where the idea first popped up. First step was just trying to figure out how to make it look like it wasn't just chopped up by a Swiss Army knife..which they were. She also had to come up with a name.
Plenty of beers and backyard BBQs later a friend said, "What about 'Truckette'?!?" and we had a winner. A big winner. She also had to teach herself how to sew (again, from 8th grade home ec class) and then find the perfect lace, pick out colors, find hat suppliers, go to trade shows, listen to countless books on tape about business, learn how to cut vinyl and print and heat press art and then there was figuring out where to store it all! No lie, Truckette Hat Co has been run out of a storage unit for almost a year! Seriously...Stacie sits in a storage unit and cuts, sews, prints, boxes and ships Truckettes so that every chica in the world can snag a Truckette. The product you see today has been perfected through these past few years and we couldn't be more stoked.
We love this company and hopefully you do too! Check out our Instagram and our hashtag of #truckettetribe. You'll see too, that it's the best thing since sliced bread...but we're a little biased.
We also have lawyer fees because we filed for our patent. Which is super exciting that we have a patent, however our lawyer friends gotta get paid! We love them. They love us. They also love it when we pay them.
