What is 35mm?
And ... we need your help!
Sure, but who are we, exactly?
We are The Unknown Artists, and our mission is this: To provide opportunities for talented, unknown individuals to thrive on a stage, enabling them to show off their gifts of music, acting, dance, comedy, film, and all categories of art. The Unknown Artists search far and wide for an explosive amount of talent that is of a specific, unheard of, untraveled artistry. Our goal: to make Unknown Artists KNOWN.
What will we be using your donation for?
As a non-profit company, we often rely on tax-deductible donations to fund our productions, and this is our most ambitious project yet! Your donations will help us with the following elements of production: a killer five-piece band, theater rental fees, production rights, sound and lighting equipment, set pieces and build, costumes, publicity, programs, and importantly: concessions (we always provide a hearty amount of beer, wine, and candy for your lobby time!).
No donation is too small and no donation will go unappreciated. Not able to donate at this time? You can also help by spreading the word about this project on social media and letting anyone who may be interested in this sort of thing know about us. You can check out information about our company and past productions on our website.

Our production is scheduled to run in February & March of 2016 at The Complex in Hollywood. We hope to see you there!
Risks and challenges
One of our main goals with this project is to bring together the best band possible. The music is extremely detailed and would not be doing 35mm justice without one. Overall, we are a young, up and coming company on the verge of being well established, and this may be the high-profile production to help us climb higher up the ladder. We would love to foster an outreach with students and younger talent in addition to reaching out to fellow unknown artists who wish to take part in future productions and our weekly reading series, Play Club West. Donations will help us with the publicity and outreach necessary to reaching as many people as possible, something we haven't been able to explore before. This is our most ambitious projection, and I'm sure there will be many challenges along the way. Luckily, we have a great production team and cast ready to go!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
