Artwork and Crowdfunding Game of the Week!!!
We'e in a very good position at 85%, and yesterday we got named Crowdfunding Project of the Week in BGG's Geek Weekly newsletter! All this means we're doing really well for not even being a week into our campaign yet. But that doesn't mean we can just sit around. We still have reviews in-coming, there are blogs and news sites we've reached out to, and we'll be trying to spread the message as far and wide as we can, but we can't do it alone, please help us by liking, commenting, and sharing whenever possible.
Every color in the game has a theme, one that I try to represent on those colors' respective cards as best as possible. I want players to feel like the gardens they build have character. To that end no two cards are the same, and that all of these little props and set pieces have multiple versions.
The biggest thing yet to be done by far is to finish all the people to populate the game, we're currently sitting at just north of 70 people currently ready for the game. Here's a small selection of some of my favorites, all of the ones below are based on real people, but not every character in the game will be based on a real person.
Finally I think it only fair to highlight someone without whom this would in a literal sense never have happened. The man behind the mug. My dad, Jim Sallwasser. I asked him a few months back if he wouldn't mind being on the cover, and now he's loving the attention of being a international male model.
That's all for now, have a good weekend everyone. Prost!
