100 Elephants is the directorial debut film from Erick Lee.
Log Line: A twenty-something year old drug trafficker torn between his non cooperative ex-girlfriend & their only son has a fail-proof plan to get away with $500,000...or does he?
From the Director: I'm very confident in the crew I have for this film! To name a few, I have a New York Film Festival award-winning Director of Photography by the name of Chad Ross, A production/interior designer by the name of Katrina Stumbos, an up and coming Producer/AD by the name of Krystina Ornelas, and a Sound Designer with unlimited access to a Sound Fx Studio and Foley Stage by the name of Jamie Blake.
With your help I will be able to give this project the funding attention that it truly needs in order to create something memorable and more importantly further kick-start my filmmaking career.
Our scheduled shoot dates are February 16th & 17th in Sacramento, Ca with a late March premiere at the Tower Theatre in Roseville, Ca.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration!
Risks and challenges
Since this is my debut directorial film, there is a lot of pressure on my shoulders. One problem I may face, since my budget isn't big enough, is working with amateur actors. I will be coaching them to give me the best performance they're capable of, without over stepping any personal space or boundaries. We will have two filmed rehearsal sessions together before the shoot dates where we will read the script top to bottom numerous times. That way myself and the actors may review the footage and touch on any particular moments that may need tightening and when it's time to shoot, there will be no surprises since we have already rehearsed the script many times.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
