In 2 short years, Cahalen & Eli have bred a new Brother Duo sound. They are now pursuing their 2nd record, Our Lady of the Tall Trees.
Cahalen & Eli are independently releasing their second album, Our Lady of the Tall Trees.
To accomplish this, funding is needed for proper production. This includes tracking, mixing, mastering, printing and promoting the new record.
By ordering your Pre-Release and/or a hand-pressed print of the album art, you not only guarantee yourself an early copy, but the actualization of the record. It's all or nothing! We need 320 pre-sales, and we are confident we can make it!
In 2 short years of knowing each other, Cahalen and Eli have bred a new brother duo sound, employing old-time and bluegrass to deliver original songwriting. Their debut record, The Holy Coming of the Storm hit #34 on the Roots Music Report’s top folk albums of 2011, and had steady airplay across Europe. The record features Cahalen and Eli on guitar, banjo, mandolin, slide and bouzouki, and the production of legendary mandolin player Matt Flinner.
The road has become familiar for the two, with multiple tours to the UK (including the Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow and multiple BBC radio and TV sessions), and shows in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Czech Republic, all amongst thorough touring across the US. The two signed with Mongrel Music in 2012, and are excited for a great year of festivals and shows, as well as the production and tours in support of their new record.
