The Wolves of Chernobyl is a musical and theatrical project that aims to tell stories of characters left in the wake of what we call "Days' End", which is the culmination of a half dozen or so apocalyspes (yeah, I know it's not a word). So with that as our backdrop we decided to write progressive bluegrass and rock-ish folk songs and set the stories in Appalachia to match, the stories being about traveling musicians eking out a livin' and trying to stay out of trouble (write what you know). Along the way we stumbled into some heartfelt and impactful songs that while about fictional things were rooted in real experience. We've recorded a three song EP that demonstrates what we can do with a very little time in the studio and without much money. With your help we can record another set of songs, giving each the time they need, and put out a full length EP.
We could've written, performed and recorded our songs and called it a day, but we're ultimately about telling these stories. With the help of a troupe of actors and a patient director we wrote and staged the first act of the stage show/folk opera built from our songs, telling the story of the tragic romance between a young Constantine Everett and Eloise, the daughter of the cult leader "The King of Kentucky". We call it Eschatologies. With your help we can finish the stage show and take it on the road.
While the stage show tells the story of the character Constantine "Constant" Everett, the adventures of the traveling band "The Wolves of Chernobyl: After Days' End" will be told through an ongoing serial podcast drama, and build into the future of the band's music. Your support helps us record and produce the podcast.
We hope to build even more things in this world in all different types of media, but these are our first steps and your help can turn our stories about endings into a great beginning for us.

Risks and challenges
This is a big project with many, many moving parts but we've partnered with artists and creative types that have shown the talent and matched our passion for the project.
We've priced our studio visits to be both economical and of high quality, and the stage production is supported by the manpower of a local writer's theater. Many of the things involved in this project we've done before, it is simply a matter of having the funding to create a good final product.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
