One Way to Grace
A Memoir The most effective way of conveying the redemption and forgiveness inherent to Christianity is through the life and works of an ordinary man facing extraordinary tribulations.
Without judgment, condemnation, or shame David Daly bares his truth to the world in the hopes of inspiring faith in the hearts of the lost and unbelieving. This memoir covers the span of David’s life experiences, starting with his birth and childhood spent in the tumultuous civil unrest of Northern Ireland and culminating with his rebirth into Christianity as a weary and troubled adult far from home in Israel.
Through a series of interviews and interactive writing sessions, we have arranged the most important and impactful moments in David’s journey. Unabashed honesty was our goal as we worked through the highs and lows of David’s life. It is David’s belief that in order to truly show others the benefits and blessings of walking in the Spirit we must also display the uneasy and exhausting life he had before welcoming Christ into his heart, soul, and mind. Each chapter of this memoir is headed by a carefully selected and cited passage of Scripture that is meant to underline the meaning of the chapter’s events while reminding the reader that, even in the darkest hours of David’s life, God was always present.
As they finish the final word on the final page, readers will be empowered by the sense of the strength, forgiveness and support a Christian life offers.
The memoir is ready to begin the publication process. A world renowned Christian publisher has come on board. All we need is a small upfront investment in the project in order to move forward with editing and promotional work. We are reaching out to our friends, families, and communities for help securing the funding needed for this investment. As soon as the funding is secured, we will be working with the publishers immediately. A contract is sitting on my desk, signed and ready to go.
This is not self publishing. Once the publishers receive the contract and investment we will be working with one of the most respected publishers of Christian literature in the world in order to craft a beautiful and MARKETABLE book able to be distributed to major booksellers all over the English-speaking world.
Risks and challenges
Aside from fulfilling this financial obligation, there are very few obstacles David and I need to overcome in order to make One Way to Grace a reality. The entire manuscript is written, a big name publisher is on board, and the contract is already negotiated.
Of course, the publishing world is fickle and, at times, unpredictable. As we enter the editing process, I am keeping an open mind to the suggestions and notes I may receive from the publisher. David and I trust one another implicitly, and both want what is best for the book. We also trust that the publisher we have partnered with is ideally suited to the project, and shares our vision for the work. Our goal is to share David's testimony with the world in hopes of touching lost or hurting souls.
