Tons of Red Markets News and Releases

Before we get to all the exciting Red Markets news, please check out our latest project, Party Fowl, on Kickstarter now. Hebanon Games needs more than one game to survive as a company. Party Fowl is approaching its first stretch goal and could really use your help. If you were holding off backing Hebanon's first board game, I’d really appreciate it if you gave it a look.

Alright, on to the RPG stuff.

Red Markets at Conventions

I’m going to be running A LOT of Red Markets games over the next few months. Personally, I’ll be running a game at Origins from 10am-2pm on Thursday, June 14th. I’ll also be at the IGDN booth, selling Red Markets, Red Markets posters, and print copies of both the Quickstart Guide and Performance.

(I’ll be running Party Fowl demos from 2-4 Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, as well)

At Fear the Con, I’ll be running Red Markets from 2-6 on Friday, June 22nd and from 9-1 Saturday, June 23rd. There will also be Party Fowl demos available.

And for Gencon, whoo-boy, we have a staggering 22 games of Red Markets scheduled! Most are already sold out! If you want tickets, be sure to grab them soon. The IGDN will also be selling Red Markets merch to anyone interested.

Which brings me to my next bit of news…

Le Corbusier Beta

SPOILER WARNING: If you are playing Red Markets at Origins, Fear the Con, or GenCon, do not read the Le Corbusier draft. We will be testing those jobs at the conventions and reading the packet early could spoil your experience.

I’ve finished drafting the first adventure supplement: Le Corbusier. Backers set to receive the final copy should receive a message through Kickstarter with a link to all the beta-version documents. I'll be sending those out after I post this update.

Though based on The Brutalists Actual Play series, all the jobs in this packet are original and never aired. We will adding art and sprucing up my crappy maps as the summer wears on, but the packet is playable right now for groups that won’t be attending our conventions this summer. While I’ve personally run every one of the jobs included multiple times, there’s always the possibility that something got lost in translation...or that it’s just riddled with typos. If you have feedback or proofreading marks, be sure to send them to hebanongames@gmail.com.

We have other news regarding adventure supplements as well…

Quickstart Available in Print

SPOILER WARNING: If you are playing Red Markets at Gencon, I would again advise caution against reading the Quickstart Guide early. Don’t spoil your fun.

The Quickstart Guide and starter adventure put together by the talented Laura and Adam Briskin-Limehouse is available for POD at DTRPG. It’s another gorgeous effort by Kyle and Kat Carty, so I wanted to make sure there was an option for everyone that needed to get their paws on it.

Get the QuickStart Guide in print from DTRPG.

Finally, to finish off the print news…

Performance Available in Print

The audiobook is inbound, and everyone should already have their digital copy waiting in their BackerKit account. However, a lot of people prefer their books physical. I’ll be selling (and signing, when possible) print copies of Performance through the IGDN booth. If I won’t see you at conventions this summer though, you can get a dead-tree version through CreateSpace now.

In Conclusion

Whew, that’s a lot for one update.

I want to end by saying thank you to everyone that has supported Red Markets. Your patience helps us ensure RM releases retain quality while steadily progressing. I also want to sincerely thank all of you that have supported Party Fowl and The Mixed Six Podcast. It means so much that so many of you are willing to support my other artistic endeavours as well as our little zombie game.

Weird, mine still lets you input PWYW, and only suggests $10.

Yes. Digital is Pwyw. Print is $10

Is the Quickstart guide supposed to be "pay what you want"? Just checking.
