Welcome to the Loss

16K Unlocked

Our funding goal and the first stretch goal in the same day? It’s like the Crash in reverse!

With “The Loss” unlocked, adds nearly 30 pages of content to the Red Markets core book. Now we can take our time and really explore every plot hook the quarantine zone as to offer.

What's Next?

Our first PDF release: Trabajo. Where do you go when the zombie apocolypse comes? Why, to work, of course…especially if you work in the dystopian confines of a concrete-and-steel slaughterhouse. Trabajo is enclave where the oppressed have become the oppressors, and not everyone takes the role reversal with grace and humility.

Trabajo, like all pregenerated scenarios for Red Markets, lays the groundwork for an interesting and vibrant setting to save your group time or allow for easy one-shots. Additionally, the PDF contains six contracts ready-to-play, complete with maps and art. A Red Markets “scenario” actually provides a mini-campaign’s worth of play in 10K words. Between the immersive setting and all the intrigue its economy has to offer, it’ll be easy for GMs and players to expand the material with their own creations.

New Stretch Goal: Best Practices

How do you train a former barista to hunt monsters for a living? Do what every other job does; throw a training manual at them and hope for the best. “Best Practices” is that manual. Written as an onboarding document for an in-setting crew, “Best Practices” adds 30 more pages of content to the book. In addition to generating even more plot hooks and inspiration, the chapter will double as a strategy guide for players seeking to survive Red Markets’ more punishing difficulty variants.

Thanks again to all the backers for making the book possible, and thanks to all our future backers for making Red Markets an even stronger product.

As always, hit me up in the comments if you have questions. That’s what I’m here for!
