After last year's success of JigDoll the live show, I have decided to release the music from JigDoll as an album. It's been recorded and is in the final stages of mixing.
I am crowd funding to help with the final push to release the album - it's expensive business these days! The money will go towards mastering, artwork and promotion.
I am hoping to raise £3000.
As this is my first solo album I would really like to make a splash and if I exceed my target (which would be amazing!) the extra money would be used for more promotion and advertisements.
The album will be launched officially in the Summer but funders will receive their copy ahead of the release date, hopefully in April but by May at the latest.
If you want to donate but can't see quite what you're after, please let me know if you have a suggestion!
Thanks for your help! I can't wait to have the real thing in my hands!
Risks and challenges
As projects go, this is pretty safe, it's already being made, people are already coming to gigs and there's been fantastic feedback for the project. But there's so much great music out there at the moment that it could just get lost in a sea of new albums. I hope that with the correct publicity and with the help of the very supportive British folk scene, I can make this album a success.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
