About

The City of Cannes is sponsoring the creation of a technical animation film school and gaming studio in Cannes with production related to a large video game market by three of the biggest major Japanese animation film-makers: long film animation, manga animation style and anime animation style.
Facebook contacted us yesterday and is interested in our Japanese animation school-studio with '4K, 360 degree gaming' global satellite connectivity component. They are organizing a tour to visit Cannes for Japanese investors. We are of course open to United States investors who might want to go on the tour as well. Let us know.
We are in negotiations with the Japanese Publishing Company that has the copyright to the works of three of the most famous Japanese animators to determine, which one, or which combination of the three, will be best for Cannes based on popularity, variation of style, and their ability to raise capital.
At present, the Publishing Company has expressed an interest in involving all three animators. For this project, Mr. Yasuo Sasada is Concept Technical Director (Producer). Keith Roscoe is Concept Project Director (Administrator).
At the heart of our studio technical concept is Japanese technology that combines real background film shots with the high-quality, hand drawn artwork. There are no computer graphics involved. As a result of this cost effective technology, our films will cost one-third less, so our animation films will be more competitive globally compared to Hollywood or Disney. Our studio will also include a gaming environment: ‘360 degrees’, ‘4K’ with live satellite uplink for global connectivity.
Cannes’ renown as the French film capital will facilitate film and game promotion as well as global distribution. Our studio will double as a training school that produces and distributes globally, high-tech animated films and games. We intend to train future generations of French and Japanese film-makers.
We envisage that the economic impact of our studio for Cannes, which just suffered a devastating flood in October 2015, will be quite substantial. Our studio will include living and working spaces integrated with Japanese tea and coffee house, restaurants and boutiques, as well as modern and traditional Japanese technical, cultural and culinary events.
We will also install a high tech early warning flooding alert system with Doppler Radar and water level sensors connected to the internet and then to hospitals, school, old age homes and, of course, cellphones. The inexpensive system gives 1 hours and 45 minutes pre-warning for the heavy rains that are often the precursor to a flood.
