NEW: Add-Ons and Dice Available
Several backers have asked for individual books and we've taken their requests on board.
Individual books from the entire Leagues range (Adventure, Gothic Horror, and Cthulhu) are now available as add-ons to everyone except the Professional Hunter (a digital-only pledge level), so you can pick and choose what other books you might want. Note that adding more books won't change your shipping costs.
We also have very limited numbers of Gothic Horror dice in stock. Because we can't control the numbers if they're sold as add-ons we've recreated the existing three physical levels with an added set of dice added. Any backer can switch their pledge to one of these levels using the Manage My Pledge feature.
Stretch Goal Announced!
We know from experience that if you hold Wiggy upside down and shake him new ideas come out his brain. If we hit £4,000 (and for every additional £500 after that) we'll add more pages to the Guide to Hags.
In 2012, Triple Ace Games released Leagues of Adventure, a Late Victorian steampulp RPG of exploration, heroic exploits, and derring-do.
In 2015, the Leagues of Gothic Horror supplement added horror, magic, mentalism, and numerous supernatural foes to the Leagues universe.
Thanks to the support of our fans we've since published six detailed monster guides (apparitions, black magicians, mummies, shapeshifters, vampires, and wicked scientists), an expansion, a detailed Leagues of Adventure (The Ministry of Unusual Affairs), a complete country (Mordavia), and a book on creating spooky lairs for the Leagues of Gothic Horror line.
This project brings together the remaining monster guides in the series - Faeries, Hags, and Walking Dead - as three volumes.
Note: Backers of a previous Kickstarter received a no-art, unedited version of Guide to Walking Dead as a free bonus reward. This version of Guide to Walking Dead not only has brand new art being commissioned, but also includes new content.
Guide to Faeries Format: 64-pages, comic book size (6.69" x 9.61"), softcover, color cover, black and white illustrated interior.
Guide to Hags Format: 32-pages, comic book size (6.69" x 9.61"), softcover, color cover, black and white illustrated interior.
Guide to Walking Dead Format: 64-pages, comic book size (6.69" x 9.61"), softcover, color cover, black and white illustrated interior.
While the contents are shaped to suit the specific entities being discussed, all three books have the same chapter headings. Our aim is to make these a one-stop resource for the particular monster. As a result, some information is copied from Leagues of Gothic Horror to save you searching through multiple books at the table or when designing adventures. The great majority of what you'll get, though, is brand new material.
Chapter 1 - Infernal Origins: Looks at the creature in folklore and history throughout the ages.
Chapter 2 - The Nature of the Damned: Describes how the fell monsters come into existence, their motivations, means of identifying your prey, and ways to protect yourself and defeat them.
Chapter 3 - Forsaken Lairs: Discusses the sorts of lairs the creatures inhabit, as well as any special powers or abilities they might have.
Chapter 4 - Diabolical Powers: Details the array of fell powers wielded by these creatures. Using a pick-and-mix system, the Gamemaster can create unique individuals in a matter of minutes.
Chapter 5 - Catalog of Fiends: Includes statistics and information on a number of stock creatures of the appropriate type.
Chapter 6 - Princes of Darkness: A number of unique villains, complete with image, statistics, and background notes.

This project is unusual in that we are offering no stretch goals or add-ons. Nor is the project a pre-order. The books are written, edited, and laid out, and you've seen the covers. Your support will allow us to purchase interior art and pay for printing. Without your support, these books won't be published in any format for the foreseeable future. Many of you know our work, so you know what you're getting for your investment.
Triple Ace Games began in 2008. The masterminds behind the company, Paul "Wiggy" Wade-Williams and Robin Elliott, had previously worked on The Savage World of Solomon Kane and Slipstream settings, among others, for Pinnacle Entertainment Group. Triple Ace Games has produced many popular settings, including Hellfrost, Leagues of Adventure, Leagues of Gothic Horror, and All for One: Regime Diabolique, plus the Rocket Race, Cadaver, and Halfling Feast card games. With many years of experience in the games industry, we continue to create fantastic games for everyone.
Risks and challenges
The books are written, edited, and laid out, and the final covers are done. We're looking to fund the interior art and printing!
However, things can go wrong with anything that goes into a manufacturing process. We have identified that delays in manufacturing could happen. So we have allowed additional time in our schedule to enable us to navigate any delay issues. If all goes to plan, we may even be able to deliver the project a little sooner.
We understand the printing process as we have printed a good number of books previous to this project, and we know how to communicate our ideas to the printer. We have discussed proofing requirements, so we know that when the printing press is started our book will match our specification requirements.
With projects like this there is nearly always something that costs more so it is good business sense to have some contingency for this, which we have built in to our costs.
No matter what problems may occur we will always keep our backers and supporters informed of all issues so that you are aware of the situation and how we are dealing with it.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
