Approaching the Final Kickstarter Hours

As we approach the last 24 hours of the Kickstarter, we wanted to give a shout out to all of our backers and community who have proved over the last 40 days that there is a market for a return to classic-style MMO gaming. Your support and actions have been inspiring for the past 39 days and we're all very much looking forward to hearing more from you over the next years to come as Pantheon heads into full development mode.

Over 3,000 of you heard the call and wanted to get on board and have already pledged over $400,000 to see this game made - no small feat and it speaks volumes about community for this game. We've already seen the interest, and now's the time to reach even further. We're going to continue to reach out not only within the next 24 hours, but beyond, to make sure that everyone hears about this game. We already know the interest is there - now it's a matter of what we can do to make the product appealing enough to continue pledging towards.

We still have a little over $375k that we can reach for within this last day on the Kickstarter, so let's all give it that extra push. Spreading the word through social networks, word of mouth and screaming from the rooftops will continue to get this project closer to completion. We've seen the passion in the community and if anyone can do it, we can.

For the final day we're also removing the caps off of the tiers - so if there's a tier you or your friends have been waiting for, now's the time! Also remember we have a whole load of addons to flesh out your Pantheon pledge.

As a little extra incentive, if we can reach the $800,000 goal before the Kickstarter closes, we'll offer ALL Kickstarter pledgers unlimited access to the post-Kickstarter development site for three months as an extra thank you. There you'll be able to interact directly with the team and become a part of the development of the game.

Thank you all again from the Visionary Realms team, and can't wait to see how the next 24 hours unfold! We're very proud of this community and are looking forward to many more good times ahead.

Let's be honest, modern day RPG creators just can't compare to legends like Braid and Lord British. It's *literally* impossible to make a better game than what Braid can do, so let's support him to the fullest.

Come on guys - I've heard this from pretty much every gamer I speak to, that "games are not made anymore like they used to be" and "we will never see the past days of EQ glory ever again". This is a chance to enable those with the means to do exactly that!

@Carl Ohrberg Another thing to consider is getting the 6 month game play add-on for $40, That;s a really nice price for a half year of game play. And can be added to any other tier you want.

@Carl Ohtberg. Basically yes. (or what ever the final monthly fee is).
The Pathfinders pledge includes the $1 per year subscription. But Paragon includes internal access, which will likely mean access to the game months before alpha. (a likely buggy game, since that's what internal testing is about)
I pledged journeyman myself, giving me both the internal access and the $1 per year subscription. Essentially, the best of both worlds.
Internal access is a pretty major bonus. So is the lifetime subscription. If you can't move up to journeyman (remember tier limits are lifted), pick which one is most important to you.

This is really exciting! I'm posting to Facebook, Twitter, and everything else I can think of. The incentive to get the three month access to the forums is incredible. I am *SHOCKED* this project hasn't been triple or quadruple funded.

So if I am spending 250$ to support the game at the Paragon’s Pledge then I am also going to have to pay 15$ a month on top of that. I am going to drop down to a much lower tier if that is the case if the KS looks to going to make it

Thanks Chris! Hopefully we can get more of your interest in the months to come.

I have to say, that I looked at this project with a good deal of anticipation, and was highly impressed not only with the projected expectations of the game, but the work already completed. And then I saw the " (including 30 days of game time) ". And I stalled. I pledged, I'm an explorer, but that "30 days" spoke to me. And it kept me from going higher. And it kept me from pushing my friends at it. I understand the need to make money. But after participating in a currently VERY hot MMORPG beta, and being less than impressed, without even having some time in the game, I'm mildly relieved I haven't let the hype of a game push me into committing myself to an unknown quantity again. I'll keep an eye on the game, and look for a demo, or gameplay footage in the future that's closer to release, but for a monthly fee, after WoW, it either has to really, seriously, impress (EVE), or be seriously on the cheap. Good luck guys, either way.
