In Ave (Ah-Vay), each player represents a powerful Roman General, Senator, Noble, or Priestess battling for favor in the Emperor's court. Using deceit, backstabbing, diplomacy, or simple violence, rise to the top and annihilate your rivals.
Ave is a fast-paced competitive card game for 2-4 players.
Ave is a great game for the casual or hardcore gamer, as it's simple mechanics are complimented by a huge variety of card effects that change the game in an incredibly fluid way. Actions are played, countered, and diverted, secret cards are revealed and plans are hatched.
Combined with 8 unique character cards that give players special abilities and alternate paths to victory, and you've got a game that never plays the same way twice. This is a competitive card game in a single box!

Ave was (and is) a labor of love for me. I first designed this game as a bunch of index cards and some poker chips, played only by me and some friends, and it remained that way for almost a year before I felt like it was ready for strangers to play. Now, thanks to an amazing outpouring of support from friends, family, and internet strangers, I'm happy to say that Ave is finally ready to be unleashed on the world!
That can't happen without the incredible platform of Kickstarter. For a new designer such as myself, breaking into the industry without crowdfunding is extremely difficult, and communities like this have opened that door.
Risks and challenges
Like any tabletop game, the challenges that face Ave include printing, organization, and distribution.
Luckily, ALL of those services will be handled by the incredibly professional GameCrafter team, who are based in the US, and are capable of producing and distributing games extremely quickly (usually within a month!)Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
