Exactly my thoughts! Hope marrow really think this through!

@JC @Piccini - Marrow said the doors will also be plastic avaliable when hit 2000 backers, see Marrow's reply below.

      @JC +1.

Marrow you gonna hurt some backer right there :(

      @ Marrow
We (the single journey backers) are also part of this 2000 goal so does that means if you are that if you are able to get them in platic are you going to add them to the single pledge?

I understand the reason to bring things out in resin, and I have backed the project so that I'm getting the Collectors upgrade. But I can't keep doing Add-Ons when they sell one door for $12, and tell you that "a good number of doors to have would be 4"... That's an extra $48 just to have a few doors. And if you only have one door, there's no point in using it. I really wish they'd do these in batches. Even if we have to wait longer between stretch goals, make them in plastic so the add-ons are cheaper, and then make them in bundles so we know we're going to have enough of it to matter in the game. This project is awesome, but the way the pricing and availability is going with the components is really depressing...

Do you have larger versions of these doors? Preferably in wood... and on hinges. Just wondering.

@Nakano: They'll keep saying it's cost prohibitive, whilst adding new miniatures. Marrow, do right by your single Journey backers who want plastic and make them ALL available in plastic before you start throwing 'major expansions' out there.

@Nadim - Marrow said that 3 doors would be a good limit if they are something that you choose to add on. If we do hit the 2000 backer goal for the doors, they will be made in plastic as well which would also help bring down the cost. There has been some talk of scenery bundles, but I don't remember seeing anything from Marrow. Fingers crossed for those.

I am also wishing Garvok in plastic or at least a way to get the game cards for him. Then I could find something to replace Garvok (or it's a ghost character with empty base in my game). But I think there is still a possibility for plastic Garvok during the campaign considering that Soul Hunters/Cleansers are probably meant to be a separate expansion for sale.

    10. Steven Ford on

@Nadim: all of the 'free' furniture is designed as an enticement to get you to buy more of it. That's why they give an inadequate amount.

I'm not really bothered about the doors but we need to see Garvok in plastic before the end. Given that we've been told that it is beneficial to have all 3 Soul Hunters (to get their combined bonus) it seems pretty cynical as it stands that one of them is only available as a $20 resin figure.

Love the door minis, but is it just me or does that goal seem way out of reach with just over a week to go!! Also its only for one set.

Im guessing that we are going to need something like at least 6 doors to play the game fully. Hence, its going to end up being very expensive. We need a bundle to get them all at a reasonable price. :(

Hi guys, 3 will be a good limit. @ Mike - if we can reach 2000 backers, we will be able to make the door in plastic also. So it will be awesome if people can share about this news!

    13. Steven Ford on

I'm giving all of the scenery a miss as giving one of each thing is clearly useless and an enticement to buy more.

    14. Greg Krywusha

Honestly, though I love them, I would rather they be plastic. At this point, having all this resin and a Premium doesn't seem as beneficial as Single with purchaseable add-ons. I'm really teetering on repledging to the lower level as all the associated monies in difference could be put to additional pieces. Marrow, would you consider making them you do for the bridges.

    15. Nakano

@David Marrow have updated the front page. 3 doors are recommended.

    16. david brooks on

      How many are recommended?

    17. Mike Norris on

      No plastic? Just resin? :(

    18. Jibboom

Nice to see the doors back. Do you have a recommended amount for them?
