Last Train to Clarksville

Posted by Horizon Games (Creator)

tl;dr  This update only applies to backers who never responded to BackerKit.  If you're one of the 99% who have, you can ignore this.

If you're part of that 1%, please contact us.

We are posting this as a separate update to increase visibility.  Although only a very small number of backers are involved, we don't want anyone to feel overlooked.

We have a total of 799 backers, between Kickstarter and BackerKit.  Of those, 11 (or 1.3%) have never answered a BackerKit survey or contacted us over Kickstarter.  It is impossible for us to fulfill your pledge if you do not communicate with us, as we won't know which items you want or even where to send them.

Of the outstanding 11, seven backers never submitted payment information, so they were never charged and their pledge is marked Pledge Failed on BackerKit.  We left these pledges in the system in the hopes that the backers would eventually update their payment information, but on Friday, January 12th, we will be removing them from our system to get them off our books.

For the remaining 4 who have paid some or all of their pledge, but have never completed a survey or contacted us, we will continue to honor our obligation to you if you can reach out to us, but honestly there's nothing we can do until we hear from you.

With fulfillment in full swing, we're really looking to lock down any strays, so if you're one of the missing 11, please check in!

EDIT:  For privacy reasons, we don't think it appropriate to publish a list of the 11 backers.  And, as some of the pledges currently involve outstanding amounts, we don't want to look like we're trying to embarrass anyone.  We just want to exhaust every option in trying to reach them.

If you're unclear or ever want to check your BackerKit survey, you can do so with this link:

Just a quick note to say I received my Trouble pack in todays post. Thank you, and top customer service.

@Emilio Desalvo Right now we're 100% focused on finishing fulfillment for our remaining backers. After we have completed that process, we'll be offering products available on a retail basis. Please stay tuned!

Ah, OK, I had lost that update, sorry...

BTW, should I decide that I need MORE sleeve, is there still a way to order them?

    4. Horizon Games 2-time creator on

@Emilio As we detailed in an update on October 20th (please see the link below), we were obligated to reduce the number of sleeve designs owing to the high set up costs and the low order volume of the cancelled designs. We included a number of promotional cards along with the substituted designs, but if you would like to discuss your particular order further, kindly email us at:

today I received my package, in Italy, and everything seems OK EXCEPT for the card sleeves...

I ordered "Card Sleeves Ship Art Pack (2 of each ship)" and what I received was:

      * three blue Traveller sleeves packs
      * two red Traveller sleeves packs
      * four Sunburst sleeves packs

Did someone mix up the sleeves packs?

BTW, I cannot remember what the "Kickstarter Backer Forum Flair" was... :-D

Thank you and looks like I am good to go, correct address shows.

      Looking forward to getting mine.

I sent is using the link you posted previously. The error was host not found. It may have been a temporary problem. I've now resent it.
      Thank you.
Everything is looking great, and my housemate got hers at the same time, so we are looking forward to playing soon.

Any backer can check the status of their survey just by going to the link. I've posted it a few times, but here's another:

@Iestyn Which email did you try to reach? I just sent a test message to our email ( and it went through fine.

Either way, we're sorry about having forgotten your Trouble on the Mains. I've informed our fulfillment people, and we'll get it to you.

    9. Iestyn

I received my parcel a couple of days ago, but checking overnight I find that the copy of "Trouble on the Mains" was not included with the rest of my order. I've tried emailing the support adress you've given but it bounced back. What next?

So if you need to search for the backer kit email, I found that mine was dated January 25, 2017. For a while on Kickstarter I tracked when I filled out the address surveys after a while I stopped updating my list as there is no such function within Kickstarter and I had to track it in a little text document and after a while I stopped doing it.

    11. Craig A Glesner on

I moved since I backed this so my address might need updating, but I don't see how to do that from my account.

How do I check to see if my address is correct?

      Anthony Hernandez on

I can't remember if I gave my contact information or not how do I find out?

    13. Horizon Games 2-time creator on

As I said, it should be no mystery if you're one of the 11. We've been emailing and Kickstarter messaging you. This is a last resort sort of thing.

    14. Irfon-Kim Ahmad on

If you want this to be effective, you need to either provide a list of who those people are or a link where people can check. A lot of people back many projects at once and have no specific recollection of whether or not they filled out a backerkit survey for a specific project or not. Probably most effective is either listing the individuals for such a small number of contacting those people through Kickstarter directly.

    15. Horizon Games 2-time creator on

If you're one of the 11, it shouldn't be a mystery, as we've been trying to contact you via email and Kickstarter message. But any backer can check their survey at any time with the following link:

Please note, BackerKit knew the link had been intermittently down last week, but they have resolved the issue.

    16. Ronald Legere on

Can you provide a link we can use to check if we responded? I think I did but don't recall.

    17. Jaques Retief Andre

How do we confirm if we completed the survey? I honestly don’t remember if I did or not.

    18. Kevin Walsh on

is there a list of who you need to hear from?
