A dramatic, musical retelling of Franz Kafka's famous short story "The Metamorphosis" presented at the 2012 Minnesota Fringe Festival
"Kafkaesque: A Musical Metamorphosis" will make its World Premiere on the Mixed Blood Theatre stage as part the 2012 Minnesota Fringe Festival.
Where do my donations go?
Theater is a very ephemeral and challenging art form -- it's also very expensive. Everyone in the show has worked so hard, and it's our goal to make sure everyone is compensated in one way or another. Your donations will go towards making our show a memorable experience both for the audience and the members of the ensemble. These are the specific ways that you will help bring this story to life:
-MN Fringe Festival entrance fee
-Advertising (postcards, posters, stickers, etc.)
-Photographer, videographer, and graphic designer
-Artist stipends for approximately ten actors, the director, stage manager, set designer, costume designer, and five musicians
-Material costs for set building, costuming
Please join us!
We really appreciate anything you can contribute to "Kafkaesque: A Musical Metamorphosis." We will be having the performance recorded and will try to make the final product available for everyone to be able to see what you helped to create.
**** A special thanks to Justin and Kristin Schaack of Above-the-Line Entertainment for producing the trailer you just enjoyed! ****
