Facebook and website now active!

Thanks for hanging in there everyone. We had a few issues with our webserver tonight, but we now have the site up and going, check it out at http://www.civitasgame.com. Not a lot of info on there yet, but well be adding to it over the next few days. We will have the forums up and going on there very soon, so that people can start meeting up and kicking around ideas. We will also be putting up a few polls for feedback so keep checking back!

Also if you haven't done so already, make sure you like us on Facebook! http://www.facebook.com/civitasgame

We are now working on getting the front page of this kickstarter revamped. We have the website and the facebook page up and going, so now we can focus our attention back on getting more game play demos and information out on here.

We have a few of the bios for the team members about finished, so check back tomorrow, when we do the big update to the front page, to finally start meeting some of the team.

We will also be adding some of the mentions from news outlets about Civitas.

Thanks again everyone for the support. Without you there is no Civitas.

Time for a little sleep.

It'll be nice to have more information regarding the project and project team online. I think however the team bio should be at the game website rather than the kickstarter. I know more about Dan Moskowitz and Ocean Quigley than I do about my next door neighbours...

The thing that seems lacking and is leading to 'doubters' (I aint one meself mind you) is I suppose a professional kinda setup, and so when you've got forums and proper info in place, hopefully that'll quell all the doubters. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that what you're saying is true in the meantime because, well, there isn't any other projects that are anywhere near to making a proper simcity 5.

The main issue seems to be lack of credibility about your team's actual game producing experience. May I advise that to quell suspicion regarding that you post a short video/blog about their past development history, with stuff that could be verified? If everyone saw a concrete history of the team that would definitely help to allay any fears this is a scam

Nah, they're just being efficient and getting the server problems up early. Unlike EA, who waited until the last minute... ;)

Yep, sever problems are bound to happen if you don't have the financial backing of a publisher like EA. Oh, wait... ^_~
