Have you ever felt that you are special? Different than the rest of the world maybe? Do you feel like you have special powers? Well if you answered yes to these questions then you are not alone. Josh has had the same feeling as you for a long time now. He was stuck working the job he hated, in company that didn't care for him. But an accident at work has made him into a superhero. He became THE BOXMAN, hero of all heroes. Granted he doesn't actually have any super powers he is still a hero in his own right and he needs your help. Help the Boxman survive the mayhem created by the accident.
Avoid the fire caused by the earthquake.
Avoid the falling wooden boxes and boxes on fire.
Collect coins by breaking the cardboard boxes.
Collect power-ups and use them to help the boxman.
Get to the top and help boxman escape the mayhem.
This is our first project and we need your help in getting the ball rolling. Besides asking for your support in getting the project off the ground, we genuinely want to get you involved! We believe that players should be given a chance to be a part of development of games they are playing. That is why we want to hear your thoughts/ideas on how to improve your gaming experience.
Following is breakdown on what the budget will be used for.
- Extending gameplay by adding survival mode.
How long can you survive the mayhem?
- Achievements and Leaderboards.
Whats the point of getting achievement or high score if not to rub it in other peoples face?
= Upgrade System
You collect the coins in this game? Why not use them to improve your superhero?
- Special character.
Shhh... we wont tell you nothing !!! =)
- New level, new adventures, new challenges
You have your hero maxed out. Why not try him out in other adventures?
The game is already in beta stage but we need your help to make it more fun and get it published. Estimated release date for Play Store and iTunes Store is June 2015. You can follow our progress on our Facebook page.
Risks and challenges
Being our first video game project together, we know we will encounter some problems along the way. Even so, this is not our first rodeo. Kristian has worked on several game and game mod projects, and Miran was lead developer for complex medical imaging software. We are no strangers to facing and resolving problems. We believe that with right workflow, out-of-box thinking and hard work anything can be achieved.
Our biggest challenge is breaking into saturated mobile games market and getting enough people interested. We believe that our principle of making games for fun and entertainment and not as advertising tool will resonate with people around the world.
We would like to thank everyone who can collaborate and contribute to our project.
