Final Update #6 (7/18/15) : Thanks everybody for making this project a success!
News Update #5 (7/14/15) : I was thinking that some of you might want to preview the comic book first if you are interested in the cards. So here are the links:

News Update #4 (7/10/15) : Well, we are a week out. It would be nice to reach the stretch goal but that is okay. I had an idea, if we do not reach $1500, then I am going to make the tuckboxes anyway, as long as we can maintain the current money total or higher, I think I can swing it for everybody. It would be a shame not to do this Project right, so if I have to, I am going to do it myself.
News Update #3 (7/6/15) : Thanks! We made our goal! We still have 12 days left to reach the $1500 stretch goal!
News Update #2 (6/26/15) : Keeping with the spirit of the project, I have decided to add a FREEBIE to the first 125 pledges for the goal. A thank you for supporting the project!
Here is a set of 8 cards Top Secret Press produced last year over the space of 3 Kickstarters. These cards number 1 to 8 and have additional information not released in the books. There are only 500 produced of each card and the early cards are starting to get scarce. Something special to go with this special Kickstarter!
News Update #1 (6/25/15) :
I wanted to mention the $4200 Stretch Goal. This goal will allow everyone to get two Tuckboxes for the price of one! Since I am starting out, I wanted to do something special, and getting your monies worth can be special in it's own way. With this goal, it doubles your fun and pledge!
I received an email from someone telling me I was too expensive on this project for a Small Press. So I thought I should expand upon my plan!
The fact is, I can only order in small quantities and this costs money. Since my goal is only $500, I still need to deliver a quality product in a small quantity. Of course, the more I buy the better deal you get, which I like! That is why I have the stretch goals. It would really be nice just to reach the $500 goal, but the higher goals get you better value. Especially the $4200 goal which will give a pledge two Tuckboxs for every one they have bought!
In other words, I like good deals and I like to pass them on.
Let me say, this is a project of love more than one to make money. It was fun to design the box and the project is just all around fun to do. That is why I kept the goal low.
I hope everyone else who joins in feels this way, and I hope more will jump on board!

Top Secret Press, established in 2011, is a leading player in the emerging independent comic book market. Also, a book publisher, they have created Geneological magazines and online magazines. With several Kickstarters under their helm, this is their first foray into the Playing Card market. Striving for the same goal, quality products that can be enjoyed by all Playing Card aficionados, Top Secret Press and John Daniel Taylor IV are committed to the vision based on The Strange #1 for the authenticity of their first 54 card deck of cards.
A LITTLE HISTORY...
Released on June 30th,2014, The Strange #1 launched Top Secret Press into the Sci Fi comic Genre. The cover, based on designs by John Daniel Taylor IV, feature artwork of Cyber Girl(Useless Girl) by Dave Acosta, Inked by Juan Albarran and colored by Ivan Nunes. This deck is being created in conjunction with the 1st Anniversary of the release of The Strange #1 on June 30th!
ABOUT THE PLAYING CARDS...
The set of 54 cards (52 suit cards + 2 Jokers) will have the Cyber girl cover on the back of every card. If we reach the goal of $500, the cards will be shrink wrapped. They can, however, be upgraded to a crafted tuckbox if the Stretch goal of $1500 is met! The Strange #1 deck is the first in the Top Secret Press line of Signature playing cards. This deck is as beautiful as it is functional and versatile for magic, card flourishing or even just a game of poker.
The Face (front) cards feature a classic playing card style with a familiar feel from the moment you take the cards out, you will be comfortable using them. The deck looks amazingly fresh. But it’s visually reminiscent of what you’re used to seeing.
The deck looks amazing and has a bold look. They back design is the full artwork of Cyber Girl!
The stretch goals for this project are fairly simple and small. It starts with our goal and then works up to the Tuckbox. If we really get going there is even possibly more!
This is the level where everybody gets a nicely designed Tuckbox featuring the cover from The Strange #1 Variant Cover!
The Strange #1 Anniversary Tuckbox was designed by John Daniel Taylor IV.
Cyber Girl Artwork is the property of Top Secret Press and was made as a Work for Hire by Dave Acosta, Juan Albarran and Ivan Nunes.

Risks and challenges
Hi! For those of us that haven't met, my name is John Daniel Taylor IV and I am the Owner, Creator and writer for Top Secret Press.
This is the first playing card project for Top Secret Press and like all projects there are always risks in getting a product to market. The designs for The Strange Anniversary Playing Card set have been completed and ready for production. The decks will be printed on classic finish stock. Other than printing, it is all ready to go.
Printing will begin within 30 days after the paper proofs are confirmed. The paper proofs can take anywhere from 3-8 week to get to us. We have been in constant contact with the printer though out the planning phase and will continue to do so during the production phase.
Top Secret Press (and I) have a sound track record for delivering Kickstarters. In this case, this is one of the easier Projects we have handled. The goal is simple and the payoff the same. Excellence!
I hope there are some of you that will enjoy this set of cards.
Thanks and support us!
