Arcade Fighter is a strategic tabletop game that brings the thrill of the arcade to your kitchen table. Customize your game for short fights, or longer grinds. With one-on-one play, tournament style, and tag team fights, Arcade Fighter provides hours of fun and replay-ability.
Choose from six elite fighters, each representing their respective martial art. Go head-to-head, assemble strike combos to perform devastating attacks and claim victory.
Every Arcade Fighter game comes with the following components:
Arcade fighter is played by positioning symbol cards onto your fighter data sheet. Players choose to advance their card position, or strike opponent cards to disrupt combos. Deal enough damage to KO your opponent, and you win.
The unique mechanics in Arcade Fighter revolver around card placement and that of your opponent's cards. The cost of performing a strike or combo is to sacrifice your own card placement. It's all about balancing risks and rewards and learning how to read your opponent and strike when the time is right.
There is a lot of interaction between players, as defending players can block combos, and attacking players can string together strikes and combos too efficiently to be blocked.
Arcade Fighter is easy to learn, but difficult to master. And game length is customize-able for casual players or hard-core fighters.

Fighters data sheets are each unique, but balanced. Different match-ups make for hours of play and replay.
And tag-team fights are a great way to cooperate and share cards and strategy to outwit your opponents. The basic mechanics are the same, so it's easy to teach a new teammate, but the experience and strategies will vary wildly depending on how you customize your fight.
Shipping hundreds of board games world-wide is a massive undertaking. We tried to strike a balance between making the per-game-price affordable, supplementing shipping costs, and making the game available all over the world. In order to achieve these goals, we have calculated these shipping rates:
US Shipping - $6.00
Canada & UK - $13.00
Everywhere Else - $20.00
By separating these shipping costs, we are able to set a lower minimum funding goal, making it easier to reach, and thus more likely to achieve. The goal here is to get the game out with as little funding as possible.
NOTE: If you are pledging from outside the US, you are responsible for paying duties and taxes when applicable.
About the creators
Arcade Fighter was developed by Clint Stoker with character design and art by Sarah Sneeboer.
Clint is an independent author and publisher of novels like "All for Owen," and murder mystery party games. His stories have hundreds of readers, world-wide. Clint loves retro gaming and playing card games with friends and family.
Sarah is a professional concept artist from the Netherlands who has been in love with creating characters ever since she could pick up a pen. Sarah graduated with honors from the Utrecht School of Art and Technology as a game artist. During her time at Mediamonks she worked on award winning projects including Old Spice: Youland and Macy's wish writer. In order to perfect her craft and pursue her dream as a character concept artist, Sarah is now working as a freelance artist and illustrator.
Risks and challenges

All the artwork, design and rules for the core game are complete. Any achieved stretch goals will need to be designed and tested. However, there are still some issues that all backers should be aware of.
Items in this campaign might differ from the final product due to manufacturer error. Production may get delayed due to supplier shortage and/or weather events. We should not be held responsible for delays.
MISSING / DAMAGED ITEMS
If there are missing or damaged items, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and including photos of what was damaged. We will send you replacements for the missing/damaged items as soon as possible.
We will re-send any undelivered games and inform backers. If a package was not delivered because a wrong address was given, backer didn't claim the delivered package from their post office, or other backer caused issues, we may request additional shipping fees to re-send the package.
Estimated delivery is January 2017. Delays outside our control may occur.
We do not offer refunds unless we fail to deliver the project. Delays in delivery or adjustments to the game pieces and rules, or other factors are not cause for refund. We will review each request for a refund individually.
