Here she is: the very first hand-bound copy of THE LOST WORK OF WILL EISNER.
Even more gorgeous than we imagined. Maria and Peter Hoey did such astonishing design work on this book, and the production lives up to their artistry and care.

The full run of books will hit the presses tomorrow, and will begin their long journey to American shores shortly thereafter. There have been a couple of production delays on the way to printing these lovely editions. There were some problems with overlapping black & silver foil on the cover, and some issues regarding proofing and layout. Beauty ain't easy. Our schedule was pushed back a couple of weeks.

So as it stands now, we're receiving the full shipment of books on July 25th here in Philadelphia, and will immediately begin sending out rewards. This is a much (much much much) simpler process than the epic Little Nemo fulfillment journey, so we should in all likelihood be able to send the vast majority of everything out within a few weeks of receiving the books. While we may not hit the July 2016 estimate for every book, we expect to come damn close!

Thank you all, dear friends and loved ones, for your continued support. Holding this thing in my hands this morning was an unparalleled thrill. I hope, when you have the same experience a couple months from now, you feel the same satisfaction I did. You made this book possible.

This is looking wonderful. Aaaand (binding books myself) I am a bit envious that you have your hand-bound edition already in your hands. ;-)
Congratulations! And thanks for a great project.
