By now, everyone whose pledge included digital rewards should (finally!) have a message in his or her inbox with links to download one or both of our backer-exclusive, behind-the-scenes companions to Little Nemo: Dream Another Dream.
"Behind the Dreams" (130 pages) explores the book as a whole, providing some background on how it came about, a whole lot of production art, a few unused alternate versions of strips, and finally a little look at what it was like to see it all become real over in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
If you have a copy of Dream Another Dream, you may recognize the way this document is organized: it follows the same order as the artists in the book, so that you can easily flip through the two together and compare the pages-in-progress to their final, printed forms.
"Bill Sienkiewicz: Building a Nightmare" (64 pages), meanwhile, takes one long, close look at the bits and pieces and obsessive self-editing that went into Sienkiewicz's dark, four-page fever dream.
Both of the PDFs - "Behind the Dreams" especially - are best read on an iPad or tablet device, if you have one.
Do not hesitate to let me know if you have any problems downloading or reading these, or have any deeper questions about their contents.
And please, enjoy!
