Introducing the XPlorerBoard Student: the fun way to learn electronics and programming. This revolutionary electronics learning system teaches and inspires. The XPlorerBoard Student gives anyone the ability to quickly learn programming and electronic circuits. It easily plugs into your Mac or PC so you can run programs on the built in Arduino compatible micro-processor.
During the past 17 years, we have had the opportunity to mentor many aspiring engineers and scientists. Our company regularly hires interns for positions in electronics and computer programming. We have also performed hands-on engineering lessons at grade schools and middle schools. We discovered that hands-on interactive learning is the best way for people to acquire engineering and computer skills. We wanted to develop a complete system that combines tablet interactivity with physical world experiments. The result is the XPlorerBoard Student.
We have designed the XPlorerBoard Student to be a lifelong electronics learning kit that can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. The variety of programs provides hundreds of hours of hands-on experimenting.
The XPlorerBoard Student is an ideal supplement to STEM Educational programs.It can be used as courseware for science and engineering classes, after school programs, home schooling, or for the D.I.Y. Makers.The XPlorerBoard is also a great tool for anyone who wants a self contained Arduino development environment with all the needed sensors on board.
The XPlorerBoard’s iPad and Android InventIT application includes 50 inspiring experiments.

The XPlorerBoard Student has an onboard ATMega328P micro-controller that is preloaded with the Arduino boot loader so it is fully compatible with the free Arduino software development environment. Power is supplied with the included USB cable from the host computer or a USB power adapter (sold separately).
Risks and challenges
During the last 17 years, we have successfully designed and manufactured many products from electronics to software to consumer goods. Last year, we successfully completed our first XPlorerBoard project, which shipped worldwide to happy customers.
We have a 6000 square foot manufacturing facility in Savannah Georgia with our own pick and place machine. We also have in-house CNC Machines, Injection Molding Machines, and other equipment that can be used to make fixtures to meet production demands.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
