We have been experimenting with printing terrain mats and game pieces on different materials to make them more durable and giving them unique playing features.
We have come up with BattleZoneP, a light weight yet strong material to print our designs on. BattleZoneP is tear proof and water proof. It is rigid and it will lay flat and stay flat when placed on the table. Another cool feature is that you can use wet erase makers to write on it and just wipe them off with a wet paper towel when done with game play.
This first release, our Old School RPG Floor Plans, will bring to life these very useful RPG buildings and accessories to use in your gaming. We have added a few stretch goals on the odd chance we get funded that far. After this release we intend to go further with the product line in the form of battle maps and even Geomorphic hex tiles, all printed on this durable, waterproof, writable material.... BattleZoneP!
PROJECT UPDATE: Square Grid Overlay Option Added!
We received feedback from backers and non-backers regarding as square grid option in addition to the hex grids pictured on the floor plans. When the floor plans were originally drawn the hex grid was part of the drawing and not a removable layer so when we launched this campaign we were originally only offering the hex grid. Since receiving the feedback I have figured out a way to remove the hex grid without compromising the art work. In the images below you can see the Grist Mill with the hex overlay and then the Grist Mill where I have removed the hex overlay.
So now I can go back into the art and add both a hex overlay and a square overlay.
Backers will now have the choice of selecting which overlay they want on there printed floor plans!
The Basic Set includes 11 buildings: Gambling Ranch, Town Hall, Two-Story Grist Mill, House, Alchemist's Shop, Toll House, Cottage, Jail, Armorer's Shop, Tavern with Tavern Back Room and all the accessories.
The Deluxe Set includes everything in the basic set PLUS the Two-Story Inn and the Two-Story Mansion. The first floor of these are 11 x 17 in size.

These Floor Plans don't exist yet but we have Artist Dan Gaylord lined up to produce them if we reach the stretch goals. For the $5000 Stretch Goal we will let the backers determine what is produced. Everyone pledging Level 4 or higher will receive the stretch goals that get unlocked.

Risks and challenges
The challenges faced with this project is getting The right material developed to make the product durable, waterproof and writable with wet erase markers. Then being able to produce the product in short runs at an economical price. Because we have been involved in the gaming industry for 20 years our experiences, both good and bad, give us the tools needed to bring a project like this to life.
