Books Printed, HARDCOVER Upgrade & Book Signings!

Hello Amazing Backers!

Great News! The books have been printed by Blurb (in the U.S.A.!) and have been shipped out of Auburn, Washington to arrive at my home December 4!

A Pantone color deck for the final soft proofing!

The upgrade? I was dying to tell you earlier, but wanted to get all the order details in place first! The books were originally going to be softcover, but I've upgraded to HARDCOVER! Yea! The original Kickstarter would deliver a 60 page black and white softcover 6" x 9" book - but now the book is larger - 8" x 10". It's also longer at 80 pages. ALL the pages will be printed on an HP Indigo full color press. And no more softcover, we'll have a beautiful HARDCOVER book with a black linen covered cover and color dust jacket. Give some thanks to my fantastic brother-in-law, the inventive Ryan Grepper of Coolest Cooler fame, for the funds for the upgrade. Good things happen when you get the chance to work with the most successful Kickstarter team ever! :)

How about the paper? It's by a company called New Page and 80# semi-matte, Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC®),  and Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) chain-of-custody system verified, all of which are third-party certified. I'm thrilled!

I'll write a new update when books ship out to backers, and I'm getting the digital .pdf's ready - EVERYONE who backed at any level will get a full digital version of the book.

..and book signings? I'll be at the fun and festive Delmar Farmer's Market at the Bethlehem Middle School on Saturday December 6th from 9-1, Saturday December 13th from 9-1, and Saturday December 20th from 9-1. If you are in town, come by, enjoy local produce, products and handmade crafts, and say hello! I'll have limited quantities of my book to sign, so if you know someone who is interested in buying a copy have them contact me to reserve a copy!

EcoHappily and Stylishly Yours,

Loretta
