Risks and challenges
This is our first project and this inevitably poses its own risks and challenges. We've had to work on OX alongside our full time jobs. The game is our passion project but it's also become our first business venture, our first company and our first commercial product. We have worked with, and learnt from, experts in every field relating to OX: from the design of the instructions, the app, the laser cutting of wood, to the manufacturing of the final product.
As Steve has handmade each prototype, we know the quality and effect we are working towards and trust that the manufacturers lined up to help us will be able to replicate OX to our high standards.
One of our biggest challenges has been trying to balance the sustainability and quality of the products we use, whilst still keeping OX the Game affordable. We think that making it British is worth the extra cost and we've worked closely with suppliers in the UK and manufacturers in London to ensure that the finished product is beautiful, authentic and handcrafted.
