And a few more words. From KOMO 4 News:
CHOP SOCKY BOOM (chopsockyboom.com) is a misfortunate web comedy that follows the adventures of five misfit Seattle actors cast in the action kung fu show, "Final Zodiac Warrior." Portraying the signs of Rat, Pig, Rabbit, Rooster and Dragon, our five traverse the challenges of the low budget film making process. Episodes I - IV are currently available online.
EPISODES V-VIII are in pre-production and scheduled to film in the Fall of 2012. We've received generous in-kind contributions and would like thank our existing supporters. After our personal investments, previous fundraising, and in-kind donations, we have $12,000 to go. Remaining expenses for principal photography and post-production include: insurance, equipment rentals, location fees, permits, transportation, catering and craft services, art department costs, and publicity. If we raise additional funds, those monies will be dedicated to future episodes.
HOW YOU CAN HELP Watch our first four episodes. If you enjoy them and think we should make more, we'd love your participation in this kickstarter campaign. Dollars are great, but you can also support us by spreading the word, subscribing to us on youtube, and liking us on facebook.
Chop Socky Boom was created as a tribute to the adventures and misadventures of independent film makers. SPECIAL THANKS to the Seattle Indie Film Community, as well as the extremely talented and generous CSB cast, crew and creators that have contributed their time and energy to make this little show possible . . .
