About this project
Logos is a film ten years in the making. It's a bit like Pi (Darren Aronofsky) and a bit like the Decalogue (Krzysztof Kieślowski), and yet entirely original. We hope to raise awareness (read publicity) for the film. I am applying to film festivals, and trying to get interviews from bloggers, newspapers, and podcasters. I am also trying to build a website.
Here is a "teaser" synopsis of the film:
LOGOS is a spiritual journey with a supernatural twist. It's a brutal story told gently. James Carroll, a 19 year old computer science student whose father jumped out of the first tower in the 9/11 tragedy, is trying to bring order to his unraveled existence through sophisticated algorithms. In the process, he is pulled deeper into the recesses of his tortured mind. Somewhere between James' dreams and reality lies the truth.
We already have a presence on facebook and twitter. We still need to host a domain/webpage for the film. Any extra funds we get will be used for a million other expenses involved with promoting the film, e.g. from registering BlackHatFilms Production company to apply to additional film festivals outside of the Philadelphia area to making posters.
Thank you so much!
