We are the team that created Desire app and now we want to bring you Desire Deck.
Currently the erotic games for couples you can find, whether these are dices, card games or board games, are basically based on positions.
We think eroticism is smarter than that.
We believe that sex starts in your mind.
So, we thought that it’s about time to create a smart game - not focussed on positions - but rather on the eroticism and creativity you have inside.
When designing the game we thought about creating a game where you and your partner will decide depending on the mood you are at; because only you and your partner know that.
We also wanted it to be gender inclusive, so there are no references to any specific gender. Because love and sex don’t understand about gender.
Desire Deck is a deck of 54 cards - poker size - that contains:
- 50 illustrated cards, each featuring a different object
- 3 special cards
- 1 card with game rules
The objects in Desire Deck are designed thinking about common objects that you can find at home. Below you can see some of the Desire cards:
It’s a game by turns. In each turn, one of you will create a dare and the other will receive it.
The player that creates the dare, will draw three cards and put them face-up to build a dare. Imagine you get the cards with the drawings of a “candy”, an “apron” and a “camera”. You could then build the dare:
“Let me take some pictures of you just wearing the apron while sensually eating some candies”
- or -
“I’ll feed you candies, while you - wearing only the apron - take selfies of the two of us”.
These are just two examples, you can come up with any idea!
The one receiving the dare can decide whether to accept it or decline it.
If the dare is accepted, it will need to be done during one minute. Then the partner that received the dare will earn the total points of the three cards and it will start a new turn.
If a dare is declined, the one receiving the dare will not earn any points and it will start a new turn.
There are three special cards that can make the game twist:
• The time clock:
Means that the one receiving the dare will need to do the dare twice longer.
• The question mark arrow face down:
Means that the one creating the dare can choose the object.
• The question mark arrow face up:
Means that the one receiving the dare can choose the object.
-TIME & WINNER-
Before you start playing you should decide how long you want to play:
• By hitting a certain number of points (i.e. The first to get 200 points)
• By time (i.e. Play for one hour)
• By cards (i.e. Until you run out of cards)
• Or when you get too hot to keep playing.
The winner of the game will be the player which earns the most points.
-LEVELS OF DIFFICULTY-
There are three levels of difficulty:
• Easy: play with 3 cards each turn and 1 minute to complete each dare.
• Medium: play with 4 cards each turn and 2 minute to complete each dare.
• Difficult: play with 5 cards each turn and 3 minute to complete each dare.

About three years ago we launched an app called Desire. Since then more than half million couples have downloaded it and played together. Now, we decided to create a new game: Desire Deck.
What makes Desire Deck unique compared to other erotic games is that you are the one creating the content of it. You have more than 2 million combinations of cards, but unlimited options that come from your mind.
You can play over and over and no game will ever be the same. Each time you play, and no matter how many times you play, it will always be different.
Desire Deck is the perfect game to enjoy a sexy time with your love one, it’s easy to learn and works for everyone regardless of gender.
We have previously build Desire, which is an app. In the digital world, it essentially costs the same to make the app for one person or thousands of people. It's code.
With physical goods, each unit has a real cost. When we printed demo versions of Desire Deck, each deck cost a lot. Some of that was for the paper and ink and cutting, but a lot of it was setup fees.
Those setup fees are largely fixed. If we printed 100 rather than 10, each deck would cost less. If we could print 500, they'd suddenly be affordable.
If this is the first Kickstarter project you've backed, here's a quick explanation of the process.
Kickstarter isn't a store, but you can think of it as a way to pre-order something that doesn't exist yet.
When you pledge money, you pick which reward you want. For example, when you pledge $12, you get one Desire Deck.
If you pledge higher amounts, you can choose to get additional packs.
Once you've chosen, Kickstarter will record your pledge. They don't bill you yet. They only charge you money at the end of the campaign, and only if we reach our funding goal ($3,000).
By backing Desire Deck, you're making these cards to exist for you and for the world. Thank you!
Risks and challenges
All of the artwork is finished. We sent to print demo decks, which turned out great.
We at Desire will try our absolute hardest to get your Desire Deck and rewards to you by the time stated on our page.
However, unexpected problems might arise such as delays in printing production, shipping delivery or dinosaurs visiting us from Jupiter to talk about sex (which will drive all our attention for some days). While we have taken these problems into account with our delivery date and do not foresee any of these problems arising, as with anything in life- you never know, so please be patient if any delays do occur.
When funding concludes, we will be sending out a survey to get your mailing address. We plan to ship these in March 2018.
