Fantastic. Would love to see it here in Tallinn, Estonia.
I sent the last batch out last week. I think I sent you an XL shirt as you r3quested. Let me know if you don't get it in the next few days.
Hi, Whitney, I haven't received my cd, T'shirt and video yet. I am one of the backer. My name is Wilfrid Suprena and my address: 12 Demille Ave. Elmont NY 11003. Thanks.
Thank you so much for everything you are doing for the "Grand Orchestre Septentrional" and Haiti. On Sunday night I was worrying we were not going to make it. Thanks God we did it. Thanks to all of you.
Holy crap, this project got almost 50% of its goal in the last few days. 35K. That's amazing! Glad to be part of it. Jeff
Zippetydodah! I 'm getting in bed a contented mother. It was a cliff hanger but the final day inspirational. Xx Mom
From way back South, in Argentina, I'm also crossing my fingers, and I raised my pledge. As Ruth said, if we all add maybe 5$ each we'll make it. How exciting to be part of things like this!
Wouldn't it be a little over $10 more from each of your backers to get you over the top?
Wow! Less than 4 grand to go. I bet there are a lot of backers like me, watching the clock and ready to kick in more if needed to get you to goal.
You're going to make it, Mr. Dow.
This is Harrison, by the way.
I'm on it today Whitney.
I've got you up on facebook and fingers crossed. It's a Great project.
"Music can change the world because it can change people". - Bono. Here is hoping!
This film needs to be seen, indeed!! It fosters compassion and respect for the people of Haiti and moves us beyond pity and a feeling of helplessness related to their history and recent events.
The screening at the New Hampshire Film Festival was wonderful. I love the way the film weaves together the music and history, it's so engaging! Best of luck with your fundraising, this is a film that deserves the widest audience, it's of universal importance.
Don't worry! When the Drum Is Beating s a great film, and will be well received, especially in Haiti. People always put politics aside for good music and a GREAT story!
I pray that you reach your GOAL!
WHEN THE DRUM IS BEATING is a film I deeply support and love, and hope to see this story extended to broader audiences.
Rock on Whitney!
