The printing process can now get started
There's been some changes since the kickstarter ended, the main one being where we are getting Nothing Fits printed. Unfortunately the place we were going with just stopped replying to emails, but not to worry! Alex and I were helping out with the New Zealand comics stall at the Christchurch Armageddon Expo, and we met Jason. He's just bought into a printing franchise, and gave us a quote which was BETTER than our previous one.
Some things have changed though, the comic will no longer be A4 sized, it'll now be 240 x 170mm, more 'comic' sized. This doesn't really change the cost of it, but it'll look more appealing (according to what we've heard).
If you are interested in the specs, the cover will be 350gsm gloss, and the inside pages will be 115gsm coated paper. The coating helps the colours stay truer and protects the pages if they accidentally get a bit wet somehow. Also it feels nice on your hands.
We have agreed to start the process on April 1st, and it could take up to a week, maybe two? And we are printing 250 copies~
For people getting rewards without the book, we'll try and get those sorted before April 1st, university work depending.
But yes, we are very excited! :D
