Children of the Stars will be an immersive concert going experience, where you the audience will be thrust directly into the action of the music. Every song will be its own live music video where you will literally interact with the characters and creatures of our own intergalactic odyssey.
Using a combination of dancers, actors, acrobats, projections and lighting like you’ve never seen, the show will literally happen all around you. No longer is it just the band on a stage and an audience in a pit. Children of the Stars will happen at October 25th, 26th and 27th at Dixon Place, an underground theatre that will be transformed into our very own “space disco” where you become part of the action and performance. Including music from our upcoming conceptual album, of the same name, as well as the classic T.O.E. hits you know and love – this show aims to take your idea of a concert to the next level.
The show incorporates influences ranging from Barberella to The Rocky Horror Show and Fuerza Bruta to Cirque du Soleil. With original costumes, sets and special effects, the show aims to take you away from your earbuds and iPads and place you at the center of… The Orion Experience!
The Orion Experience is an explosion of high-energy disco pop.
Brothers of the Scissor Sisters, sons of the B-52’s and second cousins once removed of the Bee Gee’s, they count among their fans Perez Hilton, Rachel Ray and Lady Gaga.
You may have heard their music on such shows as The Hills, iCarly, and David Letterman. They’ve toured across the country and are about to release their 4th studio album, entitled Children of the Stars.
Working alongside producer Ryan Bogner (David Byrne’s Here Lies Love - Williamstown; Yeast Nation - NYC Fringe Festival) and director Travis Greisler (The Who’s Tommy on Broadway; Scissor Sisters' Tales of the City), their next live show aims to change the concert going experience.
