About this project
UPDATE: F#%K IT—WE’RE UPGRADING THIS TO A HARDCOVER!!!
NEW/POTENTIAL BACKERS: PLEASE READ BEFORE PLEDGING!
Even though it hasn’t yet been unlocked as a stretch goal, we’re going ahead and publishing this as a hardcover instead of a softcover. Why? For two reasons, actually: Because we love you and because it’s something we want to do. Oh…and because “rules” aren’t really our “thing”.
What this means is that anyone who has already pledged to receive a softcover edition will now receive a hardcover edition AT NO ADDITIONAL COST, WHATSOEVER (this includes the shipping amount), instead. The hardcover edition will have two different covers; a “standard” cover (illustrated by Dave Johnson) and an exclusive, limited edition “photo” cover, featuring Jen & Sylvia Soska in costume as The Sister Sisters (the homicidal twin nuns featured in the story), that includes a slipcase.
Because of Kickstarter’s policy (a policy we agree with, 100%) regarding the modification of rewards after pledges have already been made, we can’t reflect the above changes in the rewards descriptions. Therefore, in hopes of avoiding confusion, this post will remain at the top of this column for the remainder of the campaign even if other, later update announcements are made.
Thank you SO MUCH for your support!

Kill-Crazy Nymphos Attack! is an original graphic novel presented in a grindhouse/exploitation film style. It’s irreverent and raw but, at the same time, it’s a story–an actual story with a beginning, middle and end–that’s infused with relevant social commentary.
The story centers upon Purvis Gunt, a malcontent and pervert who works at a pharmaceutical lab. Purvis is obsessed with having rampant, porno-style sex with nearly every woman he sees but it’s never gonna happen for him because, in addition to the fact that he’s married, he’s revolting in every possible way. So he turns to science for a way to cheat the situation, using the resources of the pharmaceutical lab to create something that will cause women to lose any and all inhibition or restraint and fill them with uncontrollable lust. Purvis, however, is a terrible scientist. What he cooks up is a virus that fills women with not only a lust for sex…but for blood!
When the virus gets out and infects the female population of the small town where Purvis lives, carnage ensues and it’s up to Purvis, disgraced priest Father Osorio and super macho but sexually ambiguous SWAT officer Mack Diesel to contain the situation before woman-hating US President Pole drops a nuke on the whole goddamn mess!

HERE'S A 3-PAGE PREVIEW!
Known worldwide for his work on such bestselling titles as Marvel’s Deadpool and Wolverine as well as Ghost Rider, The Incredible Hulk and Astonishing X-Men, Daniel Way has been working as a professional comic book and videogame writer since 2000, when he self-published his first comic, the Xeric award-winning Violent Lifestyle. A lifelong fan of horror and exploitation films, Daniel is excited to bring his wildly irreverent, darkly humorous and action-packed style of writing to this project.
Identical twins, writers, directors, actors...even stunt players, the Soska sisters have always loved twisted film. At an early age, they devoured Stephen King novels, one after another as fast as they could read - and snuck into the over-18 sections at video stores, to critique the bloody images on the backs VHS horror movies and in gore magazines.
They both entered the film industry, acting and doing background work - and were soon unsatisfied with stereotypical roles that were commonly offered to identical twins. To expand their horizons, they trained in martial arts in hopes to pick up stunt roles and briefly attended a film school that included an intensive stunt program. For one of the school's final film projects, their prepared short film had its funding misappropriated and their short was pulled from the program. Undeterred, they decided to go ahead with it anyway, getting a new cast and crew and paying for it out of their own pockets. The title of that project was 'Dead Hooker In A Trunk'.
'Dead Hooker In A Trunk' - their debut film, which the twins wrote, directed, produced, starred in, and performed the stunts. Using Robert Rodriguez's book, Rebel Without A Crew - a bible for how film-making could be done on a modest budget, armed only with creativity and ambition. Following the spirit of El Mariachi, the twins reached out to the original El Mariachi, actor Carlos Gallardo, who not only gave the ladies advice, but appeared in the film as God. The completed film - embraced by horror fans, film festivals, and critics - became an underground sensation, called "a hidden gem in indie film-making" and "a cult classic in the waiting", and won multiple awards: Pollygrind's Favorite Feature, Best Screenplay, City of Death's Best Director Award, and Cinefantasy's Audience Favorite Prize.
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PLEDGED AT THE $25 TIER OR ABOVE and you would like to add additional rewards* to your previous pledge, please do so by following these instructions:
- 1. Click on “Manage Your Pledge”.
- 2. Increase your pledge in the “Pledge Amount” box by the total amount, including shipping, of the additional rewards* you would like to add. Again, YOU MUST INCLUDE THE SHIPPING AMOUNT FOR EACH ADDITIONAL REWARD*.
- 3. Save your pledge amount. Do not change the tier at which you originally pledged.
- 4. If the campaign is successful, you will receive a survey at its conclusion that will allow you to specify which additional rewards* you would like to receive.
*PLEASE NOTE: “Limited Quantity” rewards cannot be guaranteed as add-ons. If, after your original pledge at the $25 tier or above, you have decided that you want one of these limited quantity rewards, you should change your tier to that reward (if it is still available). You can then add additional rewards by following the steps outlined above.
Risks and challenges
If funded, this project will happen. For their part, the creators have proven time and again their ability to produce world class entertainment regardless of tight deadlines, restrictive budgets or anything else the world can throw at 'em. This, however, doesn't mean that such a thing could never happen. In the unlikely event of a delay, rest assured that all backers will be made aware of the situation as soon as possible and that all efforts will be made to minimize any inconvenience or frustrations that may arise.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
