We at Mammoth Interactive are excited to launch our course series 'Hello Coding: Anyone can learn to code.' This series has five levels that take you through a holistic curriculum of development. In Hello Coding, students learn web, app, game, and Artificial Intelligence development.
Our way of teaching makes it easy for everybody to learn to code.
With our audiovisual tutorials, you follow along with your instructor to make apps, sites, and games from scratch. Whether you want to code to train your brain, release your creativity by building your own game, or learn to make websites to better your resume, you can do it with Hello Coding.
Hello Coding has 5 levels:
In Level 1, students learn the foundations of computing. Students also learn the benefits of Mammoth Interactive's teaching techniques.
In Level 2, students learn web development.
In Level 3, students learn app development.
In Level 4, students learn game development.
In Level 5, students learn how to use Python frameworks and work with AI.
Here are some of the projects you'll make in our courses.
In Level 3, students build a Finance Calculator app for the web and a Weather app for Android. As a bonus, we show students how to build a Weather app for iOS. As such, students develop an understanding for the differences between coding for Android and iOS.
Websites often display content in multiple blocks. In Level 2, students build such a website using divs. Students can then rearrange and manipulate the divs into their own design to make varying websites.
Mammoth Interactive courses are different from others you might find because we show you how to make both the code and the art for your game. We set up a scene and implement its functionality in Unity. Then we make the game's models (art assets) in Photoshop, Illustrator, or Blender.
Neural networks are a more advanced coding concept. The gist is: you can pass data through a neural network to make predictions about future results.

You can use free online editors follow along with the projects we make in Hello Coding. Here are some of the tools you'll learn:
In Level 4, you build 3 casual games in Unity. Unity is a free program that can export games to consoles, computers, and mobile phones.
In Level 4, you make a Flappy Bird game clone and its pixel art in Photoshop. You make an Angry Birds game clone and its vector art in Illustrator. You make a 3D Ping Pong game with an AI and its art in Blender.
In Level 5, you learn how to use Python, Google's main coding language, to automate repetitive tasks like account collection or image sorting. Neural networks are a technique with Python that we use to predict the stock market.
C# is the language used to make scripts in Unity. In Level 4, we use scripts to implement the functionality of games. With scripts, you can customize a game's behavior and enable the game to respond to user interaction.

Level 1 begins with an explanation of the Mammoth Interactive teaching model. We value reviewing past concepts and connecting them to new knowledge rather than cramming and then forgetting.
Then you learn how programming languages have evolved to produce the most commonly used ones today. You get access to the Mammoth Forum, where you can connect with other students at Mammoth Interactive.
By completing Level 3, you can call yourself an App Developer. We use the Java language to make an app for the web. Java is a general-purpose language that is based on classes.
HTML5 is a language that structures and presents content on the web. We use HTML5 to make an app for Android phones. Swift is Apple's programming language. As a bonus tutorial, we show you how to use Swift and Xcode to make an app for the iPhone.
By completing Level 4, you have four programs that you can put on your resume: Unity3D, Photoshop, Blender3D, and Illustrator.
Unity3D is a free app that allows you to make 2D and 3D games. Photoshop is a user-friendly application. It can be used for nearly every kind of image editing, including editing photos and making graphics.
Blender3D is an intuitive interface with which you can make high-quality, 2D and 3D art even if you can't draw. Illustrator is the most popular computer application for making vector graphics. With Illustrator, you can make high-resolution logos, typography, icons, and more.
In Level 5, you learn how to navigate Python and its frameworks with practical examples. Python is a user-friendly coding language that is famous for its versatility. Among others, Youtube, Facebook, and Artificial Intelligence all use Python. TensorFlow is a system that represents data computations as graphs.
This is real coding for all ages.

Suzanne Louis is our web developer/designer and marketing consultant. In her spare time, she can be found playing with her daughter and watching movies.
Glauco Pires is our game development guy. Besides coding and playing games, he also likes to run early in the morning and get judged for willingly waking up before sunrise.
Alexandra Kropova is our writer and social media correspondent. In her spare time, Alexandra can be found wrestling plants at Invasive Plant Pulls.
Chris Veillette is our web developer who enjoys working with various types of tech. Chris enjoys coffee, sci-fi, and films.
Frank Ruiz De Castilla is the video editor and uploader that ensures all our students have the lectures they paid for. Frank is also a G-Rank Dual-blade Wielder at Monster Hunter.
Kevin Liao is the local 3D artist at Mammoth Interactive. Other than creating art all day, Kevin enjoys playing competitive games like Overwatch in his spare time.
