Book was a real Treat! as it is always when buying somthing from Echo , I picked up my book at Mega-con in orlando and she and laz had realized that my book/patron plate had been damaged so she gave me one of the fancy ones with a slip case with a promise to mail me a new Patron Plate. I arrived the other day and looks Great! As always a pleasure knowing you Echo.

Not only is the book absolutely beautiful, but it's also very educational with a lot of practical advice from Echo's years of experience in illustration and marketing her artwork. I'm grateful to have a small part in helping to get this book printed.
It arrived in a timely fashion and in excellent condition. I couldn't be happier with the final product.

Absolutely love the book! Loads of great artwork in it. Really enjoy the stories about Echo's career with it's ups and downs. It is a great inspiration. Thank you so much for making the book Echo!

My book arrived in England in very good condition and I am thrilled to have been a part of the funding process. It is a beautiful and amazing book and makes for very interesting reading. Artwork is beautiful and I count this as the best book I now own :) Well done Echo and Laz xxx

Got my patron level book in perfect condition.
I've been in the book trade for about 20 years and this is the a great project, the art is beautiful (well of course) but the essays on working as a full time illustrator and designer were bitter-sweet to read. Echo's years of experience, good and bad, spill out on these pages and sting the memories of veterans as well as inform the novices about the hazards and glories of becoming a professional in one of the most misunderstood industries of the modern world.
If you know anyone who is thinking of becoming a designer get them this book.

So glad that I helped with this project (as minimal as I did). The book is on proud display on my shelf - beautiful quality, and came over the border quickly & in great condition. Speechless when it comes to the personalized & autographed bookplate!

An incredible work of art! Thank you SO much for sending this so soon. The package arrived with no blemishes and I intend to keep it that way! I can't say enough about her work and attention to detail. The hand-drawn bookplate is spectacular and I am extremely happy to call this part of my permanent collection of Echo's art. Thank you SO much!!!!

Oooh the book is gorgeous! LOVE the bookplate! Feels all special and stuff. Thank you for the opportunity. I squeed a lot when I got to the page with the STEAMED by Katie MacAlister page. That is how I discovered you in the first place. Would just LOVE to have bigger images of those alternate sketches! So happy :D

I'm very pleased with my book, and the bookplate.

If I'm VERY nit-picky, there was some extremely minor "crunch" damage on one of the corners of the book, but I've received brand new books from Amazon that were in worse shape.

Echo and Laz have been extremely pleasant to deal with on this entire process, and had emailed out offers to replace any book that had any damage whatsoever before I received mine.

Hi!! My apologies Anthony! Just send it back, and I'll make a new one for you. Out of all of them that were sent out, this is the first damaged one - you must have had a clumsy usps person! Really sorry. If anyone else has troubles, be sure to email me, and we'll resolve it asap. :> Thank you for your support! :D

I received my patron's edition of the book today via USPS with the package damaged and likewise the book that resided inside. At the very least, it was dropped or otherwise mishandled in its travels and its trappings did little to protects its contents. So the lower left corner of back cover was scuffed and crunched -- a little less noticeable is a similar corner drop that impacted opposite the spine at the top. I haven't taken off the shrink wrap to see if it bears any further casualty. A paper bubble wrap envelope is no way to ship a hardback book. Color me displeased.
