Videogames are a blend of different arts and specialities. Design, animation, music and story telling. Piet brings another of the great arts into the equation: dance. Please take a break, and watch him perform a personal choreography on the first track of our sound designers, Noah Aronson-Brown and Rafael Gonçalves.

For us it's more than just the funding. We would like you to be part of our journey. Making videogames is very complicated. Blending design, sound, story telling and technology to create an interactive experience, whilst trying to stay within budget and timeframes. Sometimes it's hard and frustrating. Sometimes it seems impossible to finish. But all those difficulties do help to feel an enormous satisfaction when finishing a videogame project. We would like you to join us and see firsthand what it takes to make a game. Post your thoughts, ideas and suggestions in the comments sections, or join us on our social media channels or our blog.
It took me some sacrifices to get here. Quitting my job, investing my life savings and getting a bank loan. Each and every of those sacrifices have been worth it. What we need now is your help to finish what we started. We hope you want to help us make Inside Pete the experience you deserve. In return we promise to create a fun, challenging DRM-free and fairly priced game that we would buy and love to play ourselves.
Risks and challenges
The idea for Inside Pete has been roaming around in my brain for many years. About two years ago I started writing, planning and sketching to turn that idea into a real project. One and a half year ago I finished the design document, which was the first big milestone, and I have been working on the development fulltime ever since. My team of freelancers has been working passionately on all other aspects of the project since that day.
All major gameplay mechanics and building blocks are finished. Some of the assets, like the friendly units and a part of the enemies, are already completed. From now on we mainly need to focus on adding assets, balancing gameplay and creating the levels. If you help us with the funding we need to get through the final stretch, we promise:
- to use all the raised funds directly for the development of the game
- to keep communicating about the progress of the development
Everything aside, we're all very committed to this game. Even if we fail to raise enough money for the main goal or any of the stretch goals, we will dedicate all our available time to create the best game we can build.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
