Greg - I understand where you're coming from in terms of tangible information. You have certainly provided me with some topics to touch on in our the next update. Thank you for communicating your concerns amiably.

I don't think video does very little to address the concerns that a number of us are having right now. We understand that there were quality issues in the first batch. We understand that delays are common among startups. What we don't understand is why nothing TANGIBLE has been expressed. As they say, talk is cheap.

Why didn't the desks meet quality? Were they using the wrong materials? Poor construction quality? Not following the design? Surely you would have taken pictures of the desks that weren't up to par, right? And of the factory? What about this time around- why will things be different?

I'm glad to hear you have a contingency plan in place in case things don't work out in China, but that was the only positive I took from this video. We're all excited about the desk, so we're understandly antsy with the lack of anything tangible. All it would take is a few pictures and a brief explanation to calm us down. We all want a quality product, but we also all want to know that the product even exists.

Take your time guys. I don't understand the lashing out over a business starting up and being delayed. It isn't as simple as putting a sign on a wall and saying you're open for business. I will wait as long as you need for the product to be at the level of quality you and we all expect. :)

Don't go crazy. Just be open with us.

I'm a little disappointed that things are still moving along so slowly, but I'm relived to hear that there's a contingency plan in place. Hopefully it gets moving before May or I'll be back in Afghanistan when it shows up.

Andrew Lim - David was filming the video, he doesn't get too thrilled about being on camera.

Dean - We have all the equipment required to manufacture the desks. We can't say definitively what our ETA would be. We have sourced the building materials but shipping & assembly are timelines that aren't ascertainable yet. Production here is just a contingency, we don't expect to go that route. I will take some more videos of our workspace, it's nice to see you're okay with the update. I was a little worried people would insult me for any number of reasons.

@Joshua - Pretty sure once they get settle on a manufacturer and get a commitment from them they will give us an estimate, but I don't think they are quite there yet.

    7. Creator Joshua Root on February 26, 2014

Yeah. The weekly updates coming is good. And I don't mind too much with waiting. But give me an ETA so I can plan things.

    8. Creator Ross Carlson on February 26, 2014

      Thank's for the update.

@Dean - they did their homework, but with international business dealings, things change and/or are lost in translation. That's just the reality of things. Personally I'm willing to wait for a quality product.

    9. Creator Dean on February 26, 2014

Lol well least we have an update great job there and basically yeah it seems we're at square one heh, good news website is apparently ready so that's something, bad news is it's taken months to get no where apart from a wall in the office being done :(, I'm really trying to be as up neat as I can with this but it's hard when it seems the homework wasn't done enough before the kick starter was started. But anyway thank you for a bit of an update but from the sounds of it March isn't going to be the big month? When would you ETA it if you will build it yourselves?

    10. Creator Andrew Lim on February 26, 2014

Uhh...okay... So we are essentially back in the same place. Where is David in all of this?
