Yangtze River stones.
On the 1st December 2011 I made a circle of 127 Yangtze River stones in Chongqing, China.
I held each stone in my hands for 10 seconds, as a way to connect with the river.
Each stone is transported and shaped by the river. It is the manifestation of the gentle and persistent power of water.
A Yangtze stone is priceless. Pay what you think is suitable.
The stone will come to you in a small gift box with its geological information.

A unique painting made by touching.
On the 19th November 2011, at 5, 340 meters above the sea level on the Tibetan Plateau, I made a red circle on the frozen headwater of the Yangtze River, in front of a glacier.
I used a special rock pigment, Indian Red Earth, that is typically applied for Tibetan religious paintings. I used my bare hands to touch the ice, as a way to connect with the river.
Instead of offering you the representations of this action, I offer you a painting made with exactly the same materials and same technique.
A unique Indian Red Earth painting made by touching and smearing on a piece of Chinese rice paper measure at 35cm * 70cm.
You can touch the pigment yourself.
Each one is unique, made with my hands, heart and mind together. Signed and dated.
Only three paintings are available for only 24 hours.
