Backerkit Locked Down
As you're probably aware I've pressed the big red button and locked down the Backerkit surveys and collected the extra money raised. If you're one of the 6 backers who haven't answered their survey yet, or the 12 whose payment was declined, don't despair - get in touch with me if you're having problems and I'm sure we can work something out.
You should be receiving links to all digital files you added to your order. Every backer at the £5 (Ingenue) level and up is getting the full PDF of both games, and .PSDs and JPEGs of the playbook art. As a reminder, this is all licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License. This means that you're able to remix and use the game text and art for whatever purpose you wish - so long as you credit me and the artists in question, and aren't charging money for it. I'm excited to see what other people can do with the What Ho World and Wizards Aren't Gentlemen system (we're provisionally calling it the Hijink System - what do you think?).
Final Call for Feedback
I'll give a week for the smoke to clear and Backerkit to collect payments, and then begin the printing process. If you'd like to help check the game files for formatting issues, typos, imbalances and nonsensical sentences, it is imperative that it gets done by the end of next week. After that, the print files will be fixed and there'll be nothing I can do to do further edits.
Pigsmoke Kickstarter Ending Soon
I realise I should have promoted this earlier, but my good friend (and backer #18) Chris Longhurst is currently running a Kickstarter for Pigsmoke: A Roleplaying Game of Sorcerous Academia. It has a lot in common with What Ho World - it's farcical, it's funny, it's based on the Apocalypse World system, and it's illustrated by our own Jacqui Davis! If you'd like to step into the smoking boots of the faculty of America's finest magical institution and manage students, demons and the demands of academia, go check it out!
