Time for an update. Straight to the info!
Balance Tweaks and Patches
We recently released a large balance patch on Steam (another one!) that had several changes meant to smooth out the difficulty/grind curve mid-game. One of the biggest changes was removing level requirements on items, which allows you to equip something as soon as you find or make it. This has a big impact on the power of your party.
We also nerfed the creatures that, under some circumstances, could nearly one-shot your party; smoothed out the XP curve further; and generally made things a little less time-intensive to do.
It's live on Steam and GoG now. We're hoping to push it to consoles in the next few weeks as well.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar Linux Beta is live!
You can now download and play the game on Linux through Steam!
As of this writing, it can be launched by right-clicking on the game in your library and going to Properties>Betas and selecting it from the drop down. Soon, though, it'll just be "live" normally and won't require any extra steps.

We know for many of you who opted to wait for the optional post-campaign Switch version, this is the most hotly anticipated news. Here's the current status.
The game has been in THQ Nordic's QA for a few weeks now, and we did find a few tricky bugs that took time to resolve. One, for example, stopped certain cutscenes from playing 100% of the time. In another case, walking into two of the eight dungeons resulted in garbage visual data filling the screen. Both of these were completely unique to the Switch and tricky to track down. We have fixes for those, and the game is back in QA.
We're now cautiously optimistic that with another round of testing, the game will be ready for submission. Trust us when we say that no one wants it out more than we do, but we obviously couldn't release it with such problems occurring.
We can't give a date, but we can say with honesty that it's really damn close.
The keystone of our physical delivery is the art book. Once it's done, the other stuff will fall into place quickly. We should have a test print this week, and if that goes well, it'll go straight to printing.
In the mean time, we're starting to get the other stuff made. Our goal is to have everything ready to ship in the next 3-4 weeks.
Take a look at what's being made!
