In 2012 I had a successful kickstarter project to produce a book of my scratchboard drawings of rescued dogs from all over the country--it was the Dog Scratchin' book (see link at my bio). It was an amazing project, I got to draw seventy-eight dogs, plus some of them twice, to get them right (thus the eighty dogs on these posters). I'm so lucky to have had the opportunity to make a book with such sweet stories about some pretty special dogs and their people.
This project is to create a limited edition of four 11"x17"posters with twenty different dogs from the book on each poster. I worked with a local graphic designer, Chad Maupin of Big-Bot Design, so the design layout is already done and ready to go. I recently had twenty-five of each poster printed, just to make sure they'd look as great as I'd hoped. (And they do!)
I'd like to print just as many as y'all want, here, and now. I'll then cut it off at whatever number y'all order, and then print no more. That's it in a nutshell.
The dollar amount on the goal is the least that I need to repay myself for the initial investment to make this happen.
I'm using a local printer and I love the quality of these posters. They are printed on a nice heavy stock paper (but not too heavy because I'm rolling them and popping them into a cardboard tube to ship them to you) They can be framed, or thumbtacked, or taped on your wall. It all depends on your decor. I will number and sign them at the bottom if you like...and if you don't want me to do that, it won't hurt my feelings.

Risks and challenges
The only risk is that I won't raise the full amount and then I'll be out the investment I made. That's cool. There's no risk to you, and I end up with a stack of great posters. Not a bad thing...I can live with that. The only setbacks I can see is that some unforeseen natural disaster happens and I can't get to the post office. But hey, let's not talk about that, ok? Right now it's sunny skies ahead!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
