GARGANTUAN MODEL WORK IN PROGRESS PHOTOS!
Want to know more about us? Here is a little tour of our workspace:
(just a small note this video is farce, and almost nothing stated in this video is true) ENJOY!
We're in the midsts of starting up an independent gaming/miniatures studio, and need a little help getting our sculptures printed. We have the long term goal of establishing a game universe around the models, but for now we're making models generally accessible to a variety of pre existing fantasy universes/general role playing games. ARMORCAST has been chosen as our caster and packaging team. We'll be packaging the models in nice fancy boxes through them. Check them out here: http://www.armorcast.com/

A tour of the Agnostic Giraffe Miniatures Studio:
Our initial funding goals aims to finance the production of our first 6 miniatures, plus three 'familiars'. These miniatures go as follows:
These are the concepts for the Initial familiars! We are working on modeling them now
These are still works in progress, but they are nearly done.
1) Small Tier:
Bushido Death Hamster
A Clockwork Sorcerer
2) Medium Tier:
Blarx, The Chicken God.
Mushroom Monk on Giant Frogbear
3) Large tier:
Shisa Lion Turtle
Leviathan Zombie Vulture (~4.0" in height including base)
Fungus Dweller (~3.5" in height to top of highest mushroom)
We have LOTS and lots of other models ready to be made. But the casting, packaging and distribution process is expensive. We need $500 for every new model to be put into production. Upon start up, for every $500 exceeding our $3000 goal, we will add a new model to the bundle!
Leviathan Zombie Vulture:
Ultimately, we have a range of GARGANTUAN MODELS to be released. These titans average 8-12" in size, some exceeding this amount. Somewhere around the $16000 range, if we reach that amount, these bad boys will start being released.
Every stretch goal unlocked unlocks a small, medium, or large mini!
The first stretch goal small tier mini!
Here is the second stretch goal mini!
Here come the Third stretch goal mini. He's a big one!
The next stretch goal is the small bird familiar and the Moldmancer small mini!
We are delving further into the abyss! What dangers will unfold? Well, we do, but that's besides the point...
THE NEXT TIER MINI HAS BEEN UNLOCKED!
Because he is still in progress, i don't have a complete photo for you yet. But it is called :
MUSHROOM MONK RIDING GIANT FROGBEAR
Photos will be released soon!
THE NEXT TIER HAS BEEN UNLOCKED!
Meet the next large model:
The next small model!
The croc rider!
This is just a rough concept, I have another full concept in my sketchbook that will be uploaded soon.
UNLOCKED! BUSHIDO DEATH HAMSTER:
NEXT STRETCH GOAL (7000): BAKANA BOX DEMON (Small Tier)
Risks and challenges
Artistically, the largest challenge we have is making sure the miniatures printed can all be cast. We know they can make the transition from digital file to resin print, but there are a lot of small parts (the chains on the sorcerer come to mind), and we may have to bulk them out before printing. All designs on the page do have the ability to be printed, and will NOT vary drastically from their digital form. Little elements might be lost, but faces, poses and other such significant elements will remain unaltered.
The largest we will have after the project is funded is time management. There's loads of stuff to be done, from shipping to casting to packaging to marketing and finding stores to distribute the models internationally. We have a caster and a packager all lined up, but we'll still need to do a lot of work to over see the process. How does this impact you the consumer? Delays on shipping might be a problem. All models WILL be shipping in 2013, but in which month is another question. Our stretch goal is March, our expected goal is May. Only time will tell.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
