We have developed the world's most advanced, aftermarket connected car system. At the core of the VOYO platform is the ability to acquire and utilize the large amounts of complex data produced by modern cars.
The VOYO controller is based on a specialized, high speed data logger that is typically used by auto companies in their development work.
VOYO connects to the OBD-II port of your car, generally located underneath the dash. Any car built since 1996 has one, and most of VOYO’s Standard Features will be supported in a wide number of cars.
For certain models/years of GM, Ford and Toyota, you will have the option to add our remote controlled Relays that increase VOYO's fuel savings and add unique security features. Additional makes/models are planned post Kickstarter.
Depending on the vehicle, you may also have the option to upgrade to our Premium Pack services. See below for more details on VOYO hardware, Standard Features, Premium Pack services and supported vehicles.
By the time your VOYO ships, you will be able to download the free VOYO phone App. It will provide you with a whole new digital experience and allow you to collect a wealth of information about your car as well as control its systems.
The App will also guide you through the set up process and confirm that VOYO is correctly installed.
The whole system is plug and play and is connected in under 2 minutes. No tools or automotive experience are required.

We originally set out to develop aftermarket technologies that could save fuel and reduce automotive pollution. The original devices were very rudimentary, but we didn't let that stop us!
Once we developed the electronic version of VOYO, we started to focus on acquiring advanced data from cars.
There was still a ways to go to have the complete plug and play solution we envisioned. The next step was to develop the Relays that work with VOYO to enable features such as Immobilizer, Stop @ Park, and EcoStart.
In 2014 we started working on version 4 of the VOYO and Relays. We were getting very close, in terms of performance, but the design was still lacking.
In order to make the overall VOYO experience more than just a driving one, we partnered with frog - a global, world renowned design and strategy firm. The frogVentures™ team was so impressed after taking a drive in a VOYO equipped car, they decided to invest in the company.
Even more importantly, frog assembled an outstanding team of designers, technologists and branding specialists to create the outer casings and packaging that are key elements of what makes VOYO unique.

We have developed fully functional prototypes of VOYO that have been tested on over a hundred vehicle models. We have lined up our parts suppliers, and are now creating the molds for the new frog-designed devices. Once everything is in hand, our manufacturing partner is ready to hit "go" and get VOYO and the Relays rolling off the production line.
At the same time, our development team is porting our phone App to our new User Interface and bringing up our Cloud based services. We plan to release an Android version of our App in early Q2 2016; however, the App version available in February/March 2016 will be for iOS 8.3 or higher.
The VOYO controllers and Relays being shipped for the Kickstarter campaign are compatible with the upcoming Q2 Android App.
After VOYO ships, our supporters will help us fine tune our Cloud based services, security and fuel saving apps and gamification features.
You will be a critical part of the team that helps develop the next generation navigation app by helping us detect and crowdsource driving hazards which are posted as Aware Alerts for other users to see in the VOYO App.
To show our appreciation, all Kickstarter supporters will receive Premium Pack upgrades for their VOYOs.

- VOYO with EcoStart is the World’s first aftermarket plug-and-play start/stop system for cars and trucks.
- Start/stop is a proven way to reduce unnecessary idling and save fuel; up to 10% in city driving
- 12 million gallons of fuel is wasted by idling in the US every day which equals 240 million pounds of CO2.
- Reduced idling also decreases wear and tear on the engine.
- EcoStart is initially supported on Ford, GM and Toyota, and many makes and models will follow in 2016.
- The VOYO App tracks gas use and CO2 emissions from idling.
Voyomotive’s headquarters are based in San Francisco with a research and development facility in Michigan.

Risques et défis
VOYOMOTIVE has spent over four years working on VOYO and we have demonstrated our advanced functionality on over a hundred vehicle models. Our main focus is on manufacturing the frog-designed hardware, finalizing the iOS version of our phone App, and bringing up our Cloud based services. We also plan to beta test a large sample of units before shipping out the Kickstarter devices to fine-tune the system. From there, our main challenge is to keep getting more and more models of cars to our automotive engineering team. Taking data from more models means we can expand to an ever greater number of cars on which we can provide Premium Pack services.
